I only fill up at the BP pump near my house. I have never filled at IOC till date. I still got the petrol for the points. One more addition is, I am finally getting my Fly For Sure tickets - Return tickets to Delhi from Bangalore. Its by Air Deccan, but then its free :-)

The bike is mainly aimed at city driving and for short sport rides. I personally found it not so comfortable on long rides. Since the suspensions are tight - giving you that much more control and riding pleasure, and the seat so narrow and thin, long rides do tend to strain your bottom a bit. ... Your hands too feel sore after long rides (200km) because the unevenness of the road is transferred onto the handlebar. But both these are because the roads are not well made. If the roads were good, these two problems would vanish. One other issue is the power of the headlamps. The lighting is so bad, it is a pain to drive on single unlit highways (mostly state highways). At speeds above 100kmph, wind becomes the primary issue due to the lack of a windscreen. If you stick to riding between 60 and 90, the highway ride is really great.Read More

A friend of mine had a very sour experience having taken up the Tata Indicom WLL service. He had a even worse experience disconnecting it. And, to add to all this, they kept sending bills even after the phone was disconnected and removed from the house!

Nice Review. While Pizza Hut seems to be the more popular one for its softer and better taste, I personally feel Domino's is the better of the two evils (who says fast food is good for you?). Its also marginally cheaper. But, among fast food joints - Subway (I know there's one in Spencer's) ...takes the crown for its delicious and wonderful subs. (Veggie 6' sub starting Rs.80). Coffee day, every where I have seen seems to attract the young college crowd, who seem to think its 'kinda hep' to hang out there. Their noise along with the music really spoil the atmosphere. Personally I prefer Barrista where I seem to find a more quieter crowd. Java City is good too. Im not sure if Barrista and Java City have a presence in Chennai. They are found in Bangalore though. For the more cost minded, there are fast food joints like Noodle King in various places in Chennai (There's one in a petrol bunk near Trident Hilton next to the airport) where you can fill up your tank ;-) for less than Rs.50. Food can be quite spicy and if chinese food is not for you, then stay clear.Read More

4 Years, 45000kms later - Im still happy with my decision to buy the Getz. Its still smooth, with very little maintenance except for the regular stuff. Im not really sure about the 'same price as in other shops' thing. Things are a little more expensive than in normal shops. Also, because of the crowd, and the fact that most employees do not seem to know where to find certain things in the shop, and the manner in which the guy outside tells you to ...park on the road and then you have to run behind the traffic cop who has towed your vehicle, I have started avoiding this place altogether. The Forum, Koramangla provides a much more relaxed and cool shopping experience (My view...).Read More

There does seem to be a feeling that there's something missing in the movie - may be its a bit too slow - or we have gotten used to 'scary' events happening every 5 mins in horror movie. However, one of the things that was good about the movie was - there was nothing 'gross' about it - no puking ...- no blood - its a neat clean movie. And if you are slightly faint hearted, and got fully involved in the movie - you'll get mighty scared of the TV and the Phone. Oh, and nice review. (Though I wont agree to everything you wrote :-)Read More
