any airline cannot force to accept the credit note in lieu of cancellations. After deduction of charges, they HAVE to refund the balance amount. (though generally they take customers for granted). Talk to their customer care number, and they would help you refund. if not, tell them that you are goin...g to complain to DGCA, i surely u would get it back.
