::My Verdict:: Everyone who has worked on this film has done a great job. I personally think that Shahrukhfs performance was the best. He worked so naturally bringing the film to reality. Although the film flopped and there isnft recorded to be a Kaurwaki in Asokafs life I think this film should... have been a super hit. All the actors and actresses worked hard in re-creating the history and also informing the audience of that period of time. Hrishita Bhatt and the young Suraj Balaje are promising actors of the film industry of tomarrow as they played their roles with energy leaving impact on the viewers. I didnft expect much from the film; I actually thought that Ifd give it a miss but after watching the film I actually wanted to know more about Asoka and his life and I hope that one day Asoka II will come out to finish off his life story. The film is unique to the normal love stories produced by Bollywood and its epic theme gives us variety. It also brings the war scenes to life. Anu Malik and lyrics by Gulzhar nicely embedded the music into the film. It not only flowed with the theme but also flowed with the story. Farah Khan as always did good work in the music chorography along with the additional choreographers. Well Done to all the team of Asoka! My Rating: 10/10 Read More
