This is the first time I am writing about a book, not for them who are about to read it, but for those who have read it, considered it, understood it, and have subscribed to its ideas. A novel that has been in the bestseller’s list of every bookstore since sixty years needs no review. I shall th...Read more

dear born... I'm extremely sorry for the delay....In fact I was out of station and recieved your mail quite sometime after you published your review..... Once again...It was quite an enlightening write-up....I loved your collection of facts and figures....seems like archival research is your s...peciality..! I came to know about a lot of interesting facts... Now...you know, this was supposed to be a 'review' of the Indian Cricket Team, right? so I think you ought to have made a more profound analysis of their recent performances....but all you've done is given us an compendium of plain and bare facts....Many of us on mouthshut, including me, have that habit..... so let us try to rectify that and concentrate more on the 'critique' which we need to make on products....simply plain and bare facts are very common....unfortunately all of us have been avoiding creative writing.... reply soon... Love, Jaidev P.S.: please don't mind the 'useful' rating.Read More

First of all, let me congratulate you. Going against the mob is not very easy, and you really seem to be a rebel in the making. And now, let me remind you that this was supposed to be a review on Ash...that is, an analysis of her personality and performance. Unfortunately, all u have done is abus...e her! You are perfectly entitled to say that she is a bad actor and all that, but would you please care to say what exactly are her shortcomings, and where she lags behind the other actresses? Moreover, Devdas the movie was supposed to be about the characters in the film. I don’t see any point in you saying that ’’SRK was crazy to love her’’....the film was not about Ash and SRK. Please try to make sense out of the whole thing. And if you simply want to exercise your freedom of expression, kindly do that in your own blog...this is not the place. A very crude way to say it is that you seem to be insulting the intellect of MSians by writing so incoherently. Read More

The review was a welcome and an absolute relief... I was downright astonished by the hue and cry this book has raised... there's really no reason 4 why such a book,-- which carries negligible educative or informative value--should be so much overrated.... It's no more than watching a masala film......and if people read books just for timepass, they are really insulting books, for books can be very good teachers...(not this one though) I would call this review very rebellious, judging frm the fact that it has been recommended by 91% reviewers.... Hats off 2 u man! I really appreciate ur guts...takes a lot of daring to go against the majority.... keep writing love, Jai.Read More
