Hey Kalil,
I have been reading the hindu eversince I was in school. I cant think of any other newspaper as genuine and strong in its wordings than the hindu. But dont u think it remaind a very south indian kindo newspaper with a conventional point of view in all issues? I think it still is the best... in India.

I'd like to reply to your comment on my revu. 2 Clarify that I sarcastically used the term INR in order to show thsat 'it-ain't-no-big-deal' to be a $1b co.-b'coz it was a big news then-but that turnd out to be a disastrous 1. But there was one mistake though. Airtel is not yet in2 WLL. It wa...s basic telephony, in fact. We need to knw more 'bout the co.
I have been using Airtel for about 2 years now. Rohit has been using Hutch ever since he got his cnnxion. And I have known him for quite smetime nw. So that was how I could contrast the two services. I didn't make an absolute dogma that Airtel is the bad guy. The last time I checked this was still a free country and you could choose whtever cnnxion u wnat. And by the way, I'm still usin Airtel.

Isnt Ellen Burstyn a great actress? She was fantabulous in The Exorcist.

I hav read this revu very late i guess. I dont doubt the authenticity but I cnt justify a bunch of maniacs(The VHP, Bajrang Dal et al) just b'coz of this reason. Can u? 1 of my frnds was in Baroda during the Guj massacre. I could see how cannibalic the BJP followers as well as the govt ther wre wen ...he described how the foetus of a pregnant muslim woman was taken out and sliced in front of her husband and when the police was called how bluntly they denied any cooperation. Innocent pple were being slaughtered jus b'coz they dnt belong to a particular religion. How about the Tehalka tapes? It proved George Fernandes was a jerk no.1 but he was still holding the most critical post in the govt. Can ther be anything more painful than teaching the young generation a rewritten history? Take the IIM fee cut. We were on the verge of loosing one of the leading B-schools in the world due to excessive govt intervention.This is not all, in fact India gained an absolute nothing just becoz BJP acted different. And after studyin the indian fiscal peformance in the last 10 years, it was just as-predicted-kind-of growth. So yes, I voted for Congress. An Italian prime minister is sure a disgrace but then there werent too many choices.
Now that Mr. Singh is the PM, I feel mine was a good vote. I would pretend rather not seeing the Gandhi families' misadventures than the genocide, to be brief.
