Reviewed Nook Color Ebook Reader

In the Indian subcontinent, from where most mouthshut users are from, Barnes & Noble(B&N) is a brand that hardly registers a click. And with good reason too. They are the biggest brick-n-mortar bookstore, with an increasingly electronic distribution of literary content in the US exclusively. To ...Read more

LG will be releasing an updated version of this mobile with 1720 maH battery instead of the current 1500 maH one. That should significantly improve battery life. just hope the new battery will fit the old black handset, then your battery problems will be gone

well if you have trouble with the keypad, install swype or swiftkey. They're great for one handed typing. The battery life of my P500 is great even after 9 months of usage. get a replacement, as the original one mustve got damaged. the fast moving screen means your phones CPU is snappy, practise a b...it, it'll be the same across all android phones. Change your service prvider for noise issues, the phone has excellent voice clarityRead More

I've been using this phone for the last 9 months, and quite honestly I've not faced any of the issues you mention. There has been positive reviews by other, which makes me think you probably were unluky enough to get a defective piece. why dont you get a new firmware (LG had has launched gingerbread... for the P500) that should take care of your issuesRead More

Look I have been facing similar problems. I've been a not-too-regular contributor to Mouthshut over the last 10 years, but where I lack in terms of volume, I more than make up for it in terms of content quality and objectivity. recently I tried adding a review on the Barnes & Noble Nook Color..an eb...ook tablet. despite trying quite a few times i was unable to add the product using mouthpad. Also its ridiculous that there's no seperate category for tablets and they feature in Internet>PDA/DataBooks. Whats this? 1999?? Anythow when I try to add the review, the internet/pda category does not even show up. I am indeed dismayed as I do my writing offline, and I did not realise that there was a 7500 char limit, which wasnt the case before. Despite me appending the review, and submitting it it hasnt yet been reviewed or featured on the home page. The MS staff seems to be taking it easy with no sense of rensonsibility. I'm quite franky disgustedRead More

Hmmm it's been 10 years since I wrote this, commented by the CEO himself too :) a decade later, Mr. rohitk seems to differ with our opinions and thinks I'm a paid shill for Samsung. How unfortunate!

It's been 5 years since I write that review. and the Laptop still performs well, though I overwrote the original XP with Ubuntu 10.04. Just hope Lenovo continues with IBM's impressive build quality traditions

My attempts to reach Google India

Sep 18, 2008 04:51 AM

Google and it's rarified atmosphere Companies like Google, and Oracle (where I work) considers India nothing more than a cheap destination for off shoring bum jobs (ADwords reps in google’s case) In most cases the ratio is usually like 10 heads for the price of one in their home soil. Honestly they ...just dont give a damn. get mouthshut listed on NASDAQ and there are chances that google US might care.Read More

Yeah yeah it does...and it even has an option for synced email, so that you can compose and read mails offline. With SynML you can also sync remotely, but I'm guessing you wont need that functionality

I think that DRDO instead of carrying out core R&D activities itself, should stick to appraising defence technology from 3rd party vendors.

I'm flattered you found my review amusing and comprehended my anguish. Dude the W800 is based on the same platform as the K750 with a slightly different firmware (flight mode), different facia (mirindaaa) and better earbuds. Try looking at their side profiles, they are identical. From my experi...ence with the K750 I can say this, when it comes to convergence (phone + mp3 + cam) it is nearly impossible for any gizmo to attain perfection but our phones come pretty close. Thats why I will notbother to write a review as all that can be said of these brilliant phones have been said and reiterated by everyone fortunate enough to have owned them.Read More

Obnoxious…that’s the only word that can possibly do justice to this pathetic excuse of a music phone. I fancy myself as a prosumer, but it just happened that my Dad straight out of the blue gifted this set to me, maybe because over the years he’s bought a lot of LG goodies from...Read more

I'm using LG Mobile Agent Ver 1 and it sucks worse than their vacuum cleaners. I'm gonna write a little review soon to inform our mem...ber what a pathetic excuse for a phone this is.Read More

Dude as far as India is concerned, Acer gives u the best value for money. As long you use that acer as a desktop replacement, it shouldnt give u too many problems. Have a look at the Travelmate 4600. But if you're gonna travel with your note, go for a Dell or a Thinkpad.
