The last time I wrote anything about a movie here was way back on the 22nd of September, 2015, which is approximately two years ago. I loved writing a few words on the biopic(Pawn Sacrifice) of one of the greatest chess talents the world has ever seen. If there is anything at all that has driven...Read more

I had made up my mind to watch this movie the day I set my eyes on the lines of a promotional poster of the film that was on display when I had been to Cinepolis to watch Uppi 2, a Kannada movie. The lines on the poster read: On the board, he fought the Cold War. In his mind, he fought his madne...Read more

It feels great to be back on MS after such a long, long(more than eight months) time. Having hardly received any response for my previous views(please note that I still call them views and not reviews) on "Lunchbox" and "Mary Kom", I was not sure if I would ever review a movie here. However, som...Read more

I started off my day by tweeting that there are three things to be completed by the end of the day today. The first one was to finish off some work related tasks, the second was to watch this flick and the last one was to attend a Pankaj Udhas concert. I feel glad that I have been able to do it ...Read more

Thinking, writing, reading, talking, walking and constantly juggling between these activities, I have always known that the best of things in life come without we having to either earn or spend money! @anantvernekar69 - Lovely analysis.. I do agree with you that money following media, stardom, group-ism, distribution houses, theaters and all the parties involved in the movie making have got a lot of hold on the politics to be played here but I still find Salman a little mysterious.. I was in the ...theatre and there were so many people cheering him when they saw a number of scenes and I found nothing extraordinary to be cheered at but that is Salman for you.. I am a mad SRK fan but I can objectively state that Salman is a raw star who works just on presence tearing away all logic, principles and systems involved in getting the audience to the theatre.Read More

Shastrianisms 3

Its been some time since I compiled Shastrianisms(one liners or a few liners) penned by me into a blog. Here they go - Its not about the hundreds of external voices telling you that you can't, its about your voice intensely reiterating'I can' Hard work is not the key to success. Obsessive writing!

May 21, 2014 05:35 PM General 423 Views

I have always been obsessed about this obsession called writing. When I was a kid, I used to write whatever little I knew on the walls of my house(my granny used to literally freak out!), during my primary school days I was one of the quickest writers in the classroom, I could easily stand a chance ...Read more

@nagaraj_bhoopalam Agreed.. when I am enthralled reading works of many writers, deep down I understand that I liked whatever they wrote only because they were able to express what I had to express through their words.. Thanks for the comment.
