The selection is great.Still I feel that songs such as 'shyam dale jamuna kinare' rendered by Shri. Manna Dey and Lataji of 'Pushpanjali' could also have been included.

I think the song from 'aye din bahar ke' is actually based on the raga 'yamen kalyan', and not 'pahadi'.however, the review on great LP was fine.Raag 'darbaric kanada' has been used in several films, the one beautiful song immediately comes to my memory is 'jhanak jhanak thore paje payaliya' render...ed by Shri. The review should have found place the following meodius songs of LP: 1)' pawan chakora' from the film 'mere bhabi' 2) 'ek rithu aye ek rithu jaye' from 'sau saal baad' and of course all the film songs of the movies mentioned by shri ajay. However, the review was impressive.

It is a wonderful movie directed by Shri. Sudhendhu Roy. It has the music of great musicians Lakshmikath Pyarelal. It was released in the year 1971. I am very eager to get cd of the film. Can somebody help
