NO WAY. XUV 500 is still in experimental stage. It will take a few yrs to perfect and figure out all its niggles. Pls never compare it with the Fortuner.

Status...u must be joking. Tata makes the most unreliable and horrible vehicles in India...be it nano, safari and Aria. Their cars always are known to stop on the road, give to bad resale value. I made the terrible buyin a tata car.....will advise all to never buy them

good review....but few points need to be noted. I too had considered the Figo but i went with Ritz, I will u why...
1) Figo....thou it handles well and has better looking interiors with bluetooth enabled stereo ....but the car once u cross speeds of above 120kmph feels out of power.....that is no...t the case with the swift, since i already have a swift i cod make the difference. Forget turbo lag...al nonsense. The swift diesel is an excellent car to drive. i agree tat the ritz is undertuned for better mileage but not the swift.
2) Swift DDIS engine is a generation younger than TDCi in Figo.....engine work in ford car comes at around 1.5 to 2 lac kms.....and its dam expensive....as noted in the fiesta.
On the other hand the DDIS presents with work after 3 lacs....
3) Maintaining a Ford in the long run is always an expensive bet.....no matter wat anyone tels u......
4) check the ground clearance of the car. Try driving the figo with 4 people....forget 5.....i tried it,,,,it tends to scrape our speed breakers.....tats a big risk wen driving on our highways.
I loved the handling and the interiors in the figo.....really great fun to drive....very stable...but getting the car serviced and maintaining it is always goin to b an issue due to hardly any service centers....one big advantage of a maruti is u can freely go jus about anywhere u want....if the car conks up also u can get it fixed for sure.....can u say the same about a ford?Read More

I get a mileage of 18.5 to 19 kmpl of diesel....with full time ac on in bangalore which is really good
if i put shell it crosses 21kmpl
Petrol K series is excellent....it gives above 16 kmpl easily....

wat happened did they the gearbox.....
i test drove the alto....i felt the gearbox was ok...much better than old car.
Regarding knocking n car vibration....mayb ur driving style..
i have a friend who recently got it....he is extremely happy wit the car....

hi pranav my budget is 4 lacs.....plang on either an alto K10 or A-star Lxi. I liked the seats in A star. Very comfortable.
