Ortel deserves -5 (minus five) star rating. No customer care, so much arrogance. They close complaints without attending to them. They explain that the address is wrong. But every month their people knock your door to collect bills. For nine days I am not getting service against consumer no 01218422... and nobody cares. In a span of 48 hours I have lodged complaints 16 times but each and every one was closed. Nobody cares to contact me. Even mails to Head, Customer care, Nodal authority & Appellate Authority are not taken care of. They are harassing the consumers. They are violating norms fixed by TRAI. There should be extensive campaign against the company and the Odisha Government should be requested by the consumers to suspend the services provided to them forthwith. This company should not be allowed to work in Odisha. Moreover, the consumers should initiate case against the Company in Consumer Court. It is learnt that the employees of the company are yet to get their salary for nine months. They have accumulated these arrears over a period of 2/3 years and this is a regular process in the company. If you skip salary distribution for some months on the plea of shortfall of revenue it accumulates to big amount in arrears over a period of time. Obviously some employees can not bear it and leave the company. Again new people are recruited and they go away after facing the same situation. The problem each time was that the Cooker was not working and the service center every time told that the panel board is to be changed. Whether they changed it or not I do not know.
