Certaily I agree with you. There was a time each reward point was equal to Re.1. Noi more. Across banks, all issuers have resorted to devaluing the point. Firstly it has been denied the money value! That means you cannot use them against the annual fees etc which was the norm then. One good devel...opment is that many issuers are giving away the cards without annual fees. Secondly the coupon route (That is LEE Cooper gift coupon of Rs500 costing 750 points) devalues the point further. Additionally you may have to spent some more money extra to retreive the value of the points. (You may not get anything for a Rs.500 voucher at Lee Cooper!) Thirdly, you earn less points which are already weak in purchasing power!Read More

No details, particularly as to what other DTH services you have compared against and most of the conclusions are subjective opinions! I am very skeptical to follow the advice given by the reviewer!

Very objective and well written review. Honda however does not have a track of tinkering with the price! That means dont expect a downward revision of price!

There is no clarity in this review. Why did you pay money to the bank for Air tickets? And if it was through their debit card or credit card, then how can they be responsible if prices fall? What did you expect from the Bank? we all know there are lot of hidden charges in private and foreign banks ...but you have not illustrated the point clearly. Try and edit the page. ThanksRead More

Is this the message: Buying from Duty free shops is safer and not from other shops (in INDIA or in DUBAI)

Great ideas. The language and the tips are more for a person with more than passing knowledge of computers! The path of instructions to do it yourself would have completed the review!

Why dont you try complaining to Reserve Bank of India (Banking Ombudsman). The complaint at least will be logged in official records! www.rbi.org.in

Dear Sandblaster, You have narrated a problem which is witnessed often. Banks can be inefficient and like here, cocky. My advise: Punish them by switching to another bank! Regarding CIBIL, yes this problem is not new either. CIBIL is sponsored by RBI, with banks and financial institutions alone ...as members and therefore you as an individual cannot approach it nor correct any information in practice. That is to say, till somebody drags it to court accusing defamation. Till then you need to ask your bank where you closed a loan account to send information to CIBIL. Sadly this is the only way. You can however make a complaint to Banking Ombudsman at www.rbi.org.in but it is a long drawn process. I am immersed in one such process for over six months waiting for action. The dues that is wrongly showing is Rs.600/- and the violator is SBI Cards (Credit card) and this card account was closed in 2005! Punish themby aligning with their competitors! Good luck! Read More

Thanks for the review. You have narrated the story. But what do you think is good about this movie? Why should I watch? Good attempt but.

Totally agree with Cheekanthu it is not a review. Objectivity, judgment and information are the prime ingredients of a review. This piece lacks each one of them!

It was a honest review. Congrats on that. Yes I have faced similar experiences in the past (say over a decade) with Bata mostly who also distribute/manufacture Hush Puppies in India. Cracking sole, particularly if it is synthetic (could be any of several different types of molecules) is a ...common occurrence if a shoe is kept idle/unused for a prolonged period of time. I have had this problems in the pairs that I buy in a binge and store for later use. When I take them out, within hours on even earlier the sole peels off or cracks. The main issue is with the storage, which makes the different materials in a shoe change their character, like sole becoming brittle, glue/adhesive becoming weak etc. It is because of this manufacturers sell them periodically on discount sale! If a pair is bought on discount sale, you need to take the time the shoe spent on the shop/shelves also into account! I think the same would not happen in a traditional footwear , made of leather, sewn together. Read More

Great reading your review and wished that I was as fortunate. I have five connections and the sixth one I terminated on 30th september 2008 which has not been deactivated by the company. The termination itself was because they did not change my address on the records/on their system after submiss...ion of proof anf their written (email) acknowledgement! Ad after six months of waiting I threatened to disconnect on connection every month and my first on itself is struck! These guys do not resolve issues and their customer care centre (in Mumbai?) is not good and neither is the local executives. I am unlike you, very dissatisfied!Read More

First of all congrats on completing one month of satisfaction! However, I tend to agree with engineer007 and my experience resembles his experience closely. The company is just outright bad. You need to be very alert to guard against their excesses. The call centre was very bad too. Transition t...heory is sounding good but all along GE was at the back end and not SBI itself, though (!) transitioning. And GE itself is no small company! The point we are all making is their unwillingness to redress the complaints. That includes, ineptness at the start, unwillingness to recognise the proble/complaint and unwillingness to address it completely. It is true when it was introduced, it had all the right ingredients for success. I have one message for you: All the best. If it is really good now as you say, go on enjoy it. I would not touch it again. Thanks.Read More

Good review I agree. Almost all essential information covered. Some description about the build (e.g strong plastic body etc) would make it more complete.
