The incident and some statistics Kangaroo Kids - Mumbai
Copied and pasted krishmunn's comment to my post on Kangaroo Kids titled A hoppy Education System--- 'Appears that you are one of the school management person since you have given your contact details. Please say in clear, precise terms if the incident mentioned by archer is true or false.' T...he remarkabout the phone number (as mentioned in my reply to your comment) was in reference to the 'contact details' that he/she has stated in the above comment on my post. Since I had included the phone number, I am assuming that this was the 'contact details that krishmunn and archer are talking about And by the way, I certainly do not use blogs like this one to be 'offensive' to anyone...nor am I 'defending' or 'taking things personally'...my reply to your comment was merely asking you to be objective and stop assuming that everyone around is using pseudonyms on behalf of KKEL..Read More
may i suggest that you do not make impuslive assumptions about who is and isnt on the school managemment? I happened to know of a pair of twins who studied in the KK school and having been impressed with how they blossomed in their early years, I wrote that. As for the remark about the phone number..., is it very unbelievable that a person could open a newspaper, check out their advertisement and simply type down the same as information to the rest of the people using this site? As far as i know, MS is supposed to be a mouthpiece where people suggest and comment to help others make decisions. I also agree with the othe person who has commented on your article... do you have proof?Read More

I so agree with you--been a couple of times to TGIF in Mumbai and believe me, except for the interiors and all the antique looking gizmos glued all over...there was nothing else that was commendable about the place...

The first time I went to Inorbit was just about a year ago. Was making a trip to NZ and had to pick out a new wardrobe ;) I was struck by its majesctic exteriors and location, no doubt...but not wholly impressed with what they had to offer...except for GIANt and Shopper's Stop and Lifestyle....G...Read more

(Updated May 11, 2005 11:46 PM)
I'm a wannabe Elvis movie starlet--who wouldn't? To shake a hip and pout a pout with the King himself? I grew up with a childish crush on Presley after watching ''Blue Hawaii'' as a 11 year old. First of all blue-water beaches...secondly a place like Hawaii (that's where I got my future honeymoo...Read more

How to have a pleasant road trip this summer
(Updated May 11, 2005 10:50 PM)
“We’re all going on a summer holiday…” crooned dear Sir Cliff Richard merrily as he drove away in his double-decker bus years ago. Well, so are you…, you think smugly as you drive away, not so merrily though. The only difference is that you are not travelling in a double-decker bus; but in a fou...Read more

My favourite books in childhood? It's gotta be all of the ones written by 'the greatest story-teller of the 20th century!' A Hoppy Education system indeed!
(Updated May 09, 2005 10:16 PM)
Kangaroo Kids is a name associated and pooh-poohed as 'one of those elitist thingys', but for once, I wish I was a kid today so that I could get that kind of education that most of us have missed out now. All in a span of 11 years, this tiny preschool (as it first began) has altered the meaning ...Read more

Around this time, last year, my friend and I were waiting on a claustrphobic railway platform (don't remember which one) and we happened to look at a hoarding advertising the launching of the History Channel. ''What the hell is wrong with the cable guy?'' was a question we both voiced verbally a...Read more
