Dear Sobargal. I totally agree with you. But the monster is not MNLI. The real monster is ULIP. It is our bad luck that our Indian Insurance regulatory authority has not made rules for charges to be taken under ULIP. As we found under SEBI there are strict rule (Fix entry load, exit load of only 2.2...5% once). The ideal arrangement for anyone is MUTUAL FUND FOR INVESTMENT + TERM PLAN FOR INSURANCE.
