Recently I had my worst nightmare come true... Stranded in the middle of the Road.

I have been driving for 8 years now and never was in a situation where my fuel would run out. I usually have my tank refilled when i get one of those alerts in the dashboard that shows when there is very low fuel.

Yesterday morning I had to go to one of our family friends and before leaving I noticed my fuel level indicator was low indicating low fuel. But I thought I would fill it up when i get those orange low fuel alert in my dashboard. This never happened and while returning my car suddenly stopped in peak hour traffic. With all those unmerciful honking I had to get off and push it to the side of the roads. To add to my woes I did not have any container to get Petrol. I checked with one of the Auto drivers and to my relief the Petrol pump was just a mile away which I jogged to buy a new 2l bottle of mineral water only to throw all the contents away and got it filled with Petrol.

I had been thinking of renewing my Cross Roads Car helpline card which I was postponing for ever. Would have saved some of my efforts if I had it done earlier.
