Aaj mai aaspki nazar ek gazal ker raha hoon. Yeh meri likhi naghi hai. Lekin mujhe achhi lagi, socha aap sdab bhi iske zayqa lein. To pesh hai:
"TUMHARE KHAT MEIN, NAYA SALAAM KISKA THA?
NA THA RAQEEB TO AASKHIR WO NAAM KISKA THA?
RAHA NA DIL MEIN WO BEDARD AUR DARD RAHA,
MUQEEM KAUN HUA, MUQAM KIS KA THA?

VAFA KARENGEY, NIBHAYENGEY, BAAT MANEYGE
TUMHE BHI YAAD HAI KUTCHH WO "QALAAM" KISKA THA?
GUZAR GAYA WO ZAMABNA, KAHOON TO KIS SE KAHOON,
KYAAL MERE DIL KO MERE,
SUBAH SHAM KIS KA THA?

The above gazal depicts the sentiments of a lover who finds tghat ther love letter writyten by his beloved had mentioned somebody else's name in the address of the letter. He wants to know who was that fellow.He forgets the pain but is engrossed in the idea that who took his place in the heart oif his beloved. He questions his berloved to sdolve his mystery but with no result.
