Gautam Vasudeva Menon is making a movie " Chennaiyil oru Mazhai Kaalam", meaning A rainy season in chennai.

Rains are a rarity in this part of the world and every year the city faces acute water shortage during summer. You can see kilometers of tubs and vessels queued up near the corporation water tanks, which hardly holds few hundred litres of water. You can also witness real life WWE type of wrestling between ladies( yeah baby) for water. Prices of juices and food items shoot up, stating water shortage as reason. Water packets( in plastic covers) are a common scene in bust stands and public places, Water, at that point, becomes such a commodity which has greater demand than supply, given this people even forget if the water in such packets are worth drinking and whether such water is healthy.

Such is the relationship between water and chennai. In fact it can be described as a never ending, one sided, love story, where one person A(the people) is in constant pursuit of the otherB(water).

What happened during the past week or so, has brought a twist to this sweet little love story. B has now become an obsessive and possessive lover of A, that it has driven A out of his/ her house, and has filled his/her world in such a way that A has no place to go now and A has started doubting whether or not to love B any longer.
The after effects of B's dangerous display of affection has left A, jumping and bouncing on the roads like a madman(due to innumerous potholes and abbraded roads), starving for energy( due to submerged transformers), forced to walk and swim his way around(submerged roads and subways) and left many of A's relatives and friends either wounded or even dead.

Now A starts complaining to his parents( chennai corporation) that he is unable to bear the affection that is being shown by his former lover B. A's parents just inspect the affection that was displayed by B( surveying parts of chennai) and raise their hands, putting the blame on A. They even go to extent of telling that A(rather As, many As) strong desire for and pursuit of B has resulted in this display of affection and that A must stop pursuing B, or any such thing in future.

I guess what ive written above be the story for Gautam menon's next movie, Chennaiyil oru Mazhai Kaalam. Im certain that it would be much more pleasent, less punishing and much sweeter than what chennai, and in fact the whole of Tamil Nadu, witnessed/ sufferred during the recent rains.
