Soldier - Army officials intercept a truckload of arms and ammunition being sold illicitly to gangsters by officers in the Indian army. When Capt. Vijay Malhotra, tries to stop them he is shot and killed. A subsequent inquiry into this incident reveals that Vijay was among those who aided the gangsters in their mission. Having brought shame to the country his dead body is stripped of all medals, and commendations, and is left for cremation by his wife, Geeta, and a young son, Raju. Even the local villagers refused to permit Geeta from cremating the body of a traitor, and therefore his body is left to rot in the hot desert climate, and eventually to be eaten by vultures. Years later, a young man Vicky, goes on a rampage, killing influential people that were directly involved with the guilt of Vijay Malhotra, with no sure as to why he would even be aggrieved by the death of a traitor.
