The scenes at the Gateway in Mumbai and all the other cities last evening is the one true silver lining in the clouds that have gathered after the terror attacks.Finally Mumbai buried it's so called resilientspirit.Finally people came out in huge numbers demanding answers to all the tough questions regarding the safety of citizens and the honour of our nation.Post independence this has to be the biggest mass movement in this country.I couldn't be happier.

Let Raj Thackeray come in disguise(cause he might get killed otherwise) and have a look at who the city belongs to and once it gets through his thick skull let him take a dive into the Arabian sea and bury the kind of devisive politics he so delightfully propagates.

Let Mukhtar Abbas Nakhvi silence his tongue which powered by his deeply prejudiced brain and years of political experience still wags endlessly not knowing what he is about to face.

Let Achutanandan come and read the wonderful slogan"We would rather have a dog visiting our house than a politician" and let him then plan his travel habits.

Let all the corrupt officials who have plagued our systems for ages realize that we are watching them and not even the strongest of excuses will be tolerated any more.

Let all those from our whole security establishment notice that we consider them our true heroes,our only hope and let them expect not to be ignored and humiliated any more.

Let all the terrorists and other such ba*tards understand that next time they plan to carry out any such activity on Indian soil it won't be left to the commandoes to grapple them and finish them.

Let Pakistan and their God Forsaken people understand that India won't ever shy away from taking them front on and they can no longer get away by giving us all kinds of double talk.

Let us take a pledge to keep this fire lit within us forever for the sake of our great nation and the pride we feel when we say "Yes I am an Indian".

Let us pledge to never go back to our old ways where we never asked questions,never held our politicians accountable,never cared to vote,flinched when we paid our taxes,never actively showed support to the few good men that we owe a lot to.
