You thought you gave it all to me,
You thought that we could be tender,
and together forever,
Your tender thoughts ,
Warm heart only touched one side,
You gave all you had in tender ways,
I seen the other side that put a hold on my wants,
Pulling me away,
I grasp at every open moment,
that I could get for your companionship,
Only seeing I had to turn away,
Run from the hurt that would not escape me from my past,
Your smiles; your tender words ;gave me closeness
I shut my eyes and walked away,
Closing my heart off,
this pain that was there remained,
Your heart there for me, with mine closed,
from any love I was to receive, lead me to ask questions,
what were you thinking your selfish dream,
your wants from me?
Tender once did you give it,
Was it just my desires that drawled me to your side?
Or the compassion with every tender moment together,
Did you ever ask what I wanted from all this ?
Was it in my dreams ?
the clever way I spent my time,
For some day this heart of mine will see the hurt mend,
With a dream of being by ones side,
No hurt;
no play;
just words to spark feelings,
and bring light around to give new meaning
With life's small rush,
time can pass and gentle ways can bring light,
To tender expressions again,
Only give it time and tender ways can spark these dreams,
Me by your side and my eyes open to a new life with more meaning,
No more dreams without sharing in closeness,
We shall retrieve tender moments again ,
As my eyes open to your tender thoughtful ways,
No darkness will blind these dreams ,
only promises. we can make for now.
Will render new tender moments,
To our relation where passing we meet for now,
We'll share ever ending dreams ,
will the moment then be bonded,
when you are at my side,
recovering from your changes.
