Here is the final set of results related to the Sunrise/Sunset Photo/Comment/Guessing competition.

Do you remember The Guessing Competition?  Here are the results!!

In fact the competition was a test and happy to see that with great co-operation and support from you this too turned to be a Success.

The competition was offered for guessing the judge's list in the order.  It was surely difficult not knowing who is judge.  Still we had 9 full entries for the competition.  

I had to ask Farookh for his selection of the top 6 in the order apart from the results considering there had 2 sets of winners.  So, the top 6 as per the judge is as follows:

1. Sudipto 2. Nik 3. Seraj 4. Shriram 5. Sujyothi & 6. Sachien.

To calculate the success rate, I have considered that one correct name in the correct place will get 10 points, if the name is 1 place above or below will get 9 points, 2 place blow or above8 points and so on.   If not in the list means 0 points.   2 people (Nik and Seraj) who have featured in the judge's top 6 participated in the contest and 10 points each given for that particular position.

Now the results:

The First Prize:   Tanna (astrofreak1234)  With 45 points and  5 winners. (MS500 worth Prize)

The Second Prize : Lalit (bildebej) with 26 points and 3 winners. (MS250 worth Prize)

The Third Prize : Fahad (fahad91) with 25 points and 3 winners. (MS200 worth Prize)

Congratulations!!!

Santhosh, Sanjoy, Sachinsan, Akash, Nik & Seraj will receive Consolation prizes worth MS100 each.

I am sure this competition helped all the participants to go through the photos more critically.    Each word of appreciation is adding value to those photos where as many as 17 pictures barged into the top 6 list by various members means that each picture has its own beauty and our way to look at it is important.  More than anything, I will have more options when it comes to judgment of future competitions.
