It was the time when earthquake acts like a devil on the people of Kutch village of Gujarat.  When the houses were being destroyed, a little girl was drawing pictures on the roof of her house.  With the calamity, she got struck under the house.  When the rescue team came to the site, they could see the little girl struck under the destroyed house and her left hand got struck in the blocks.  They were on a dilema situation of how to save her hand from the slabs.

         But, it was the girl, herself, who asked them to cuff off her hand and save her life.  Obviously, the rescuers had no choice neither.  When they cut off her hand from the slab, a colour pencil was still holding on the palms of the hand.  With her right hand, she may be drawing pictures on any other village of Gujarat.  It was one of the toughest scenes ever the rescue team ever experienced.  Perhaps, this is only one scene of several distasters that happened in Gujarat.
