Thank u cheers. I didn't follow this show for a long time. I was watching Oorvasi in Surya TV as well. Given that the HOST was used as a Maniqueen for the Saree and Jewel shop, oorvasi couldn't carry any of the outfits. She was surprisingly thin and make her look Ouch! With Radhika broking ou...t with DMK, Radhika pulled out herself from Gemini's Thangavettai. So Ramya natural Tollywood glamour doll once upon a time went there. Oorvasi was swapped again for a VJ type girl in Surya. Vijayalakshmi in Udaya also replaced by Shali after her suicide attempt. Oorvasi was horrible onscreen and couldn't carry the image. Kanika is a NEWS for me. And for sure she is a better choice. Let me watch next time.Read More

Kool writer, i guess you can still enjoy that movie. It's more of action packed and doesn't have many dialogues. Laxman, I didn't want to describe the whole movie in the name of review as the movie was only one week old and it might hamper the interest of movie goer. So i chose to write only on... aspectes to rise the curiosity. I have written more about this movie in my blog. (url is there in my review) For your sake, I would like to add why I corelated the movie with pithamagan. Bharat is portrayed in line with Vikram's character. Dumb and Deaf. Arya is kind of cool guy and comes as the one adopting a friend like Surya. As Laila, in the movie Pooja comes from a middle class background. She believes innoncently that Bharat is a nice person and falls for him. Padmapriya was similiar to Rasiga's role. What is attracting Rasiga towards vikram. Not any particular reason. Sameway Padma falls in love with Arya. And she accepts him for who he is. The friends are so close and take revenge when they lose one of their partners. Remember the vikrams climax scene who takes revenge for Surya. And what happens to Vikram happens to Bharat here. Thats why I feel the storyline and plot is not original. The treatment to it makes it worth watching.Read More

This movie revolves around the characters similiar to the one we saw in Pithamagan. But without any additional drama in that movie, the director keeps it straight. No substories were told. The narration was at the best. The story is about two coolies who kill people for money. They are als...Read more

Lot of Villas and Bungalows developed in the Garden city. So we can call as 'Bungaluru' too. The actual change is 'bengal-ooru' according to USA (u.s. ananthamurthy) who initiated all this. The name changes doesn't going to end with Bangalore alone. Mysore will become Mysooru. Tumkur will be...come Tumkooru. Belgaum will become belgaavi. Read the past two days TOI, to read more about the changes. The interesting thing here is, USA wants it to be 'Bengalooru', but all the news and media pronounce it as 'bengaluru' except NDTV. Probably TOI beleived it 'Numerology' report it printed on Tuesday's (12/12/05) edition saying how no '6' will change the prospect of bangalore. 'Poona' when become 'Pune' having a number 6 has reached its high after its name change. Chennai with a number 7 has more casualties when the year adding up to 7 (2+0+0+5). Oops! Bangalore is already choking. If there is no attention given to the infrastructure and the bangaloreans doesn't learn self-discipline on how to behave in roads, Bangalore will see its natural death soon whether it is 'Bengaluru' or 'Bengalooru'.Read More

Thank you for the comments saisrini and vjnag. Looks like it's really an entertaining movie and that's why it's a hit. I don't mind watching a movie knowing it's mere entertainer. I hate when you create the hype as it was the masterpiece. I know it's a mindless entertainer and doesn't look for a...ny logic. I question the vulgarity of the jokes used in this movie. It's a well known fact kids love superstar movies. And if you guess it right, the movie is pulled by those kids who put pressure on their parents to watch it on theatre. What he gave? a sick double meaning joke for them. Or superstar himself a kid who doesn't know to bite? When the movie was in production Vadivelu and Rajni gave interviews like they are working on super duper comedy. oh! what a jewel from Baba's sishya. I am questioning P.Vasu's thinking, that his story was so original.Admit that you copied. If you are shy, atleast say 'you got inspired' which makes you feel little better.Read More

The typo is not 'just'. it's the 'not'. Oneness is not about the only god, its about the wholeness and all is one. Well, I got what you meant by that.

A one liner should have been nice. They deserve a thank. If it was mentioned in the launch meeting, i guess even that was sufficient. I don't even like the fact the Sriram and Vikatan appearing on the CD cover as I never heard/saw any promotion activities they did. All a sudden on the CD cover it... appeared. Not sure whether they are doing it after the release. I personally bow to every person who contributed to bring this treasure. And they should be happy that they contributed to this cause. And they will get the credit. Not to worry about their name in the Cover. That's a miniscule thing. Read More

Hey, It would have been another booklet if NRI contributions were mentioned. The project is like pulling the cart together. It doesn't need separate mention. The sponsors are media sponsors which are needed to market it. Sometimes brand value sells and speaks more. If Vikatan have contribut...ed their pages free for promotions, that is significant and mentioning their name will not be a problem. But individual NRI contributions doesn't matter on a cover. Do we know the 'Sirpi' or the 'Sculptor' who created 'Tanhavur Gopuram' or 'Mahabalipuram' or 'Meenakshi Temple'? or those magnificient pillars in 'Rameswaram'. no body knows. But look what happens, people who sponsor a tubelight get mentioned in the temple prakarams and that's kind of irritating. Stop graving for something which is a duty to do. Read More

Oneness of God is surely a Hindu concept. I was reading one novel titled 'Maybe a Miracle' - written by one american author who goes on taking his kick on 'Ten commandments' which he wrote in simple words and wrote how ten commandments speak about the obvious six commandments any three men can kn...ow it and the rest four commandments are nothing but 'praying' to only one god and how he punishes if you don't do so. Hindusim advocates God is one and it never tells he is the only god. Your review was too good, with explanation to the verses which will come handy to many listeners who doesn't know Tamil or who knows only Vikatan or kumudam Tamil. I guess along with that verses, if they have written those meaning in the booklet, it would reach even better. Read More

That's true. The movie doesn't leave you shell shocked or with heavy heart. I guess this is because we had seen one movie calle d Sethu devoted for the mad man and his sufferings because of love. Since this movie didn't get into the madman's life, we didn't get the exact punch in the stomach to fee...l for that guy. And the crying scene is not a noise i guess. If you consider the background of the heroine's family, she is more used to that kind of emotional busters. What I have observed is even when we cry, we cry like how we have seen others crying to especially when we try to express or want to vent out completely.Read More
