Hi, Very fist thing, its gud to see people like you who still like to maintain a yezdi. If ur from Bangalore I could have helped you with all the things you had asked. Anyways some things which I can help on the net are – Bulb: Try fixing 12v 35/35w Halogen – For which u need to modify th...e Headlight assembly from inside. Get a new inside dome or try modifying the old if possible. U need new bulb holding clips to hold the bulb. You also need a 3 pin plug for the bulb as in the pulsar, modify the wires. That will fix ur problem of headlight. If the bulb with a holder is not fixing in the headlight doom, replace the rim of the headlight with a broader one, this will increase the length of the assembly. Horn: If ur battery is gud, then fix a bigger horn with a cutout. If u don’t use a battery then u have to get a gud electronic horn from any spare part shop. Switch: You can fix a enticer, Victor or Yamaha YBX’s horn switch assambly, its easy to find also. This will give more life also. Crome: Try to find a gud auto croming guy in ur city. If it’s hard to find for u, visit a bullet garage – they will help you. Before croming get the silencers tinkered, make it as original look. Avoid any cutting and welding in the silencer body. This will look ugly after u crome it. Emission: There is many ways. One gud one is get ur bike serviced regularly, add gud 2T like Shell 2T to petrol. Use 35 to 40 ml in city and 50ml on highways. And also decarbonizes ur silencers and use mufflers in city riding. All this will keep you Roadking healthy and fit for a long period of time. I hope some of this ideas above can help you. Happy riding. Regards, Praveen Daniel dannypraveen@gmail.com Note: Use low beam and Avoid sound horn in city limits. Read More

Dear Friend, Spoting an animal in Bandipur Forest is a matter of luck. I travel to Ooty and Masinagudi ever month, I’m also not so luck to see any wild animal every time. I think it’s just a matter of luck. Some times in the night we can see huge elephents. (now you can’t go in night) Try visitin...g the place early in the morning or evening - there are gr8 chances of sighting wild animals. Better luck next time. And to remind u; animals don’t celebrate Dasarah or run away deep in forest due to it. ( as one of the members commented - I’m sorry). Remember - we are in animal territory and we have to look for them, they will not come looking for us. Read More

Hi, Vimal, Yezdi has closed production in 1996. You have to look out for a Roadking. If Lucky You might get a good one or you have to buy it second hand and redo the bike. A good bike might cost you 10 to 35k depending on the condition of the bike. Rgds, Daniel
