The Review is good. And more than that your anecdotes. You've recommended the Disk Version, but the Dealers in Bangalore say, they hardly receive any Disk Brake Models. Maybe 1 or 2 in a month. Did you try to find out the reason ?

My Sorrow & deep concern for you. But this is expected and nothing unusual. Honda is spending & paying millions of rupees to Google to wipe out any negative reviews. That's the reason, you won't find any negative comments on Honda 2 Wheelers. I've been raising this issue of Rogue Dealers with Hon...da Company also, but there is no response. Try calling their Customer Care No. and you'll find that nobody picks up your call. Send an email and you'll receive only automated reply of acknowledgement. After this they'll not respond to any of your email. So, the Dealers are taking advantage of careless Company. They know very well that the Company will never interfere. No doubt the Honda Activa was the best about 15 years back, but things have changed in these 15 years. We Indians have the herd mentality of blindly choosing the most popular product, without thinking or reviewing. So, my point is don't expect any solace from the Company, they'll just waste your precious time. Collect as much evidence and lodge a Complaint with the Consumer Courts.Read More

If you like the Bike - Don't bother about the money you've invested in it. There is no value for the passion. The Bike is not grossly over priced and a price 70K would've been fine. But then there are quality issues with Bajaj. I've tested 106-109 kms on this bike with a weight of 160 kgs (Drive...r & Pillion) with no issues. The percentage of Buyers of powerful bikes is meagre compared to the daily commuters. And the daily commuter wants every thing - Power, Looks, Milaege, Value etc., in one Bike. So, the Companies follow - Please all. One best point about the FZ 16 is that it has got very good torque and that's the reason no one is complaining about City driving. Also torque helps in-gear pick up.Read More

Your comment - Airtel’s biggest disadvantage is that they don’t have their own media (TV Channels). Here only Reliance Customers are benefitted because of the Movie contents Adlabs has got. Otherwise always a neutral player is better. I own Tata Sky for the past 15 months, and I shelled out 8...K for 2 STB’s, which if you consider today’s offers is a sheer waste of money. And as you said, I can’t switch over to other Operator without changing the STB and the Dish. Because of Rivalry between Star and Zee, Tata Sky gives preference to only Star channels, and where ever possible Zee Channels are marginalised. And an important issue with Tata Sky Service is that - All the rules are against the Customer only. Even if they face a new kind of issue, the ruling will be in favour of Tata Sky only. Tata Sky has never kept its promise also - They said 1 week schedule of programmes - Now it is only 4 days. In Cricket, they promised screens with 3 different angles. Later they discontinued and gave us only replays. Now even that is also stopped. Every new channel, they want additional amount. And if you happen to pay in advance you are the looser. When ever there are discounts or additional features, the existing customers should be automatically eligible. Or most of the Corporates do it keep the loyal customers happy. But with Tata Sky they are not bothered. Tata Sky works out its subscription fees in such a way that if the whole family should enjoy viewing, then you've to shell out Rs. 500 rupees every month. Thanks for your information about Airtel. I may soon switch over to a new Operator for which I’m analysing either Airtel or Reliance. But my first preference is Airtel as I agree with your comment on Reliance who are street smart in cheating. The only Plus point with Tata Sky is the quality is much better than the Local Cable Operator but at a price.Read More

Very Useful. I've been shouting from Roof Tops to stop invest in such schemes, but nobody is listening to me. I even advised them to go and buy a Rs. 50/- Lottery ticket rather than wasting your time, energy and money on such schemes. The govt. should also take initiative to ban such organisation...s as our precious earnings are going out of the country without actually being benifitted by any one.
