Hi there! Just saw this articles since I am away from MS and am here today for a specific purpose. To be honest, I have never come across any friend who's a gay and if anyone admits it, my initial reaction would be the same as yours. That's because, in our country, such relationships are looke...d down at. Everybody is hiding in the closet about that issue, while people are more open out there in the US. It will take some time to accept that fact, as it happened with you. But surely, we must realize that those guys are as normal as anyone else. Just, they have a different sexual orientation. Period. Leak out...™ aLi. P.S. I still remember the trademark code, though I last used it years ago. Haha! P.P.S. Midway through your review, I thought you had a crush on that guy, that's why you were feeling upset. It seemed obvious, since it is a dating article.Read More

Tulsi: I find it far from realistic since its virtually impossible to find a person like Ali, and in reality, even if there was one, ICC wouldn't allow such players to play for any team [whether India or even Australia] since their skill is something superhuman.. And the entire episode of the thr...ee going to Australia is superficial as well.. Still, opinions do differ :) aLiRead More

Some points some clarifications

Jun 04, 2008 04:13 PM (Updated Jun 04, 2008 09:44 PM)

members (again) ignored Though you guys have updated MS and have completely changed it from what it was in 2006, the MS team has IGNORED members’ opinions and suggestions. No one asked for diaries, virtual gifts, marketplace or photo albums. We need not know what’s there in our city through MS, we k...now it anyway. We are here for reviews on it. We had many other needs and expectations [posted in numerous reviews on General Thoughts during 2006] which have not been taken care of. As a result, presently I find the site in a mess. Reading reviews with ads all over is very difficult, so I have hardly read 9 or 10 of them in as many months. The interface to me is very user-unfriendly. I found the old MS better, and it would have been great if you guys changed MS the way members wanted, and not the way you wanted. I posted a review of late to see how easy or otherwise it is writing one here again, but was horribly disappointed. I doubt whether I will visit the site more than a couple of times in a month, but you won't care anyway! ~Peace~Read More

Ashi: Hey great to see you here. By the way, it seems that you are completely unaware of the features that internet provides, like emails, orkut, etc. I tried to communicate with you, but to no avail. Got through Chand once though, luckily! Anyways this review is about 25% edited, so I've blogged... the whole review. For me, FPS was good. ONCC was above average while this one completely goes down. aLi. P.S. By the way, if you need tutorials regarding the usage of internet, do let me know. I'll be obliged. P.P.S. I haven't stopped using the P.S. in these years :-)Read More

CoolWater: Rs.95 makes it affordable for the younger generation, and FPS/ONCC are my favorites as well, though I certainly won't be adding this one to the list ! aLi

Reviewer: I certainly don't feel that Chetan Bhagat is an over-rated author, but yes, with 3 Mistakes, he has only repeated himself. I liked the previous 2 books due to the sheer novelty, but this was way behind those 2. Certainly, FPS remains a masterpiece, and while ONCC was a little less than ...that, 3 Mistakes might not go up to that level. Thanks for dropping by :) aLiRead More

Derebail: The love story is kind of very similar to the ones Bhagat has penned earlier, so it doesn't appeal because of the similarity, plus the strange manner of handling it. aLi

Good review.. Though I feel Bhagat's intentions were honest, he kind of messed it up by running too many stories simultaneously. A good read for once, but coming from the author of FPS and ONCC, I felt it as a big disappointment! Anyways even Yuvraj cannot hit 6 sixes in every match :) Leak out......™ aLi.Read More

Yes I do agree that the backdrop of politics and religion, alongside cricket, was unique indeed, but I felt that things were stretched beyond any means which made reading a bit of a tedious exercise. Personal opinions, really! :) Leak out...™ aLi.

(Updated May 15, 2008 11:34 AM)

"The Three Mistakes of my Life" The hype and hoopla surrounding the third novel by Chetan Bhagat, "The 3 Mistakes of my Life", is tremendous, mainly due to the resounding success of his earlier works "Five Point Someone" and "One Night @ The Call Center". Going by his previous works and th...Read more

Forgot to add, I remember the TM code as well, and to read the first comment, you continuously have to battle the 'Add a comment' box which keeps on hiding the comment written by the person. It gave me a senseof great achievement when I dodged the dialogue and read the comment by bildebej, though i...t took me a couple of more minutes than what it otherwise should have.
