When a director strikes with a masterpiece like NO ENTRY, the pressure mounts to recreate the same magic. And while not living up to the gigantic expectations is understandable, what is not understandable is failing to come even close to it, especially when equipped with a team of brilliant perf...Read more

Thanks for the comment...I realize that sometimes there is no time for movies but that's really a sad feeling...I can't live without watching a movie every once in a while. I hope you find time for it in the near future.

Haha I totally agree with your views on the fact that both Minissha Lamba and Anita were looking beautiful in this movie. While Neha Dhupia and Dia Mirza are both beauty queens and beauty is nothing new for them, you have to say that they too are presented better than usual. These four ladies were a... treat to watch and Mandira Bedi too as usual was quite lively and bright. The movie on the whole was fun for me, and I thought five stories were actually totally worth it. But everyone has different views and I can understand your take on the movie. Check out my review on the same. Capt!Read More

White Feather Films have, over the years, acquired an image of being a production house that releases some of the most stylishly packaged movies in the market. From KAANTE to PLAN to MUSAFIR to DUS to SOAL to DUS KAHAANIYAN, it has been quite an impact they have left in terms of their stylish pa...Read more

While viewing OSO the other day, I had a feeling that the movie offered the viewer nothing to take home at all. After viewing SAAWARIYA, the same reaction was felt despite the vast difference between the theme and genre of both movies. OSO was a hardcore commercial nonsense, which was always goi...Read more

@maithilikabre: Hahaha which review have you been reading pal? I read mine again and there is absolutely no SRK bashing in it at all. The guy has amazing starpower and all I was saying throughout was that he should use it more properly by avoiding to work with directors like Farah Khan...I hope you ...finally get the point when u read my review in complete senses. And I believe I could have actually written longer than what I already have so I don't feel it needs editing at all lol.Read More

@karitey12: Actually I haven't seen SAAWARIYA...and if you read carefully, I never defend SAAWARIYA. My point was that SAAWARIYA's cinematography is of great artistic quality, which you see in the promos...and Taran Adarsh was the only one who called the sets 'dull'. Other critics thrashed the movie..., but gave the credit where it was due - the artistic set. Other than that, I am not an SLB fan either...but he is a mindblowing director and Sajid Khan and Farah Khan are nobodies compared to him...so my point again was how could Taran bash a crap SLB film when he is praising a crap Farah Khan/Sajid Khan film. Thanks for commenting.Read More

@zenithwww2006: Thanks for the comment...I wrote the review because I wanted to express my opinion and the fact that you noticed it and it moved you enough to write a couple of paragraphs worth of comments tells me I have effectively expressed my opinion...my job is done...I can care less how well t...he movie does or what it is all about...I have seen better commercial entertainers and believe it or not, OSO ranks amongs the worst. Anyways, good luck spending your time and money on whatever you want.Read More

Overall, OSO is a 'superhit'movie thanks to a massive starcast, the Diwali period, as well as EXCESSIVE promotion from guys like Taran Adarsh who totally lost their minds during the festive period. Bollywood's last chance to produce any competition for so far the strongest movie (GURU) will come at ...Christmas when three biggies clash. Other than GURU, honourable mention goes to JAB WE MET, BHOOL BHULAIYYA, SHOOTOUT AT LOKHANDWALA, and DHOL for being some other decent movies this year. Too bad OSO is financially on its way to a much larger success than some of these other movies and together we, the audience, have to make sure that we avoid the history from repeating itself again.Read More

So my title is a take on Taran Adarsh's poor statement this morning, where he throws massive praise towards the team of the egoistic "director" Farah Khan and her "actor of choice" SRK. The fact is, as a trade analyst Taran may be right that OSO is one of SRK's biggest hits(speaking from a stric...Read more

You made up a good list of at least passable movies, some of which were well-made, that were rejected by the audience. Your list of underserving hits was also good, but I suggest some of those movies were entertaining, at least Garam Masala was ultra-cool. But yeah, OSO is a supremely weak product t...hat should have failed from day 1. Please RRC my review on the same.Read More
