hi sumanis007. even the alto can hold 130 all day long, as tested by overdrive on ARAI test tracks some yrs back. The point is not that. the point is how well the car feels at such speeds on the highway with four adults, in terms of reserve pulling power, control under braking, straight line stabili...ty etc. There is a lot more to than just speed when it comes to highway driving. i suggest u drive both the cars back to back for 30mins on a highway at similar speeds of say 110-120 and u will understand what i mean. I will tell you why : say you drop off your mother in the bus at 4:30pm, and the ticket says the bus will drop her at davanagere bus stand at 6am, but the driver tells you they will drop her at the bypass only. will you sleep all night? wont you be worried about her for 12hours? I was.. not once, b...ut twice, when i travelled with my wife and was told the same thing about being dropped at the bypass. then there is the worry of having just 12people, with just two ladies on a overnight bus. how does that sound? I have seen other KSRTC buses from mumbai going more than half empty like this.. i gave 3stars for ease of booking (online), being able to choose ur seat while booking, the bus being clean, and reaching early (spending less time in the bus). They might be good on certain routes, not all :)Read More
