Thats a cool photo you’ve taken wish it was smaller (file size). Nice and very pertinent review. From the photo Saputara seems a cute little place minus the greenery. But seems like a nice lake.
Anyways almost all hillstations in Mahrashtra Gujarath & Rajasthan need AC. Though Mahabaleshwar is... cool at nights, but in the afternoon the Ac is required.

We have a Logan (GLX) for about a year now. Although the power steering does ease the driving it is not as smooth as say the Esteem. There are those irritants like god knows where's the boot lid opener or oops I set off the wipers instead of the lights etc.Logan is a very comfortable car and the dri...ve is smooth and consumption is quite ok.Read More

The city mileage of 12kmpl for a 90 plus bhp car almost sounds too good to be true. Baleno seems a good combo car - good mileage in city & lots of power for the highways & ghats. Good review.

This is a great review. The entire Coastal Karnataka is a heavenly place. It's a pity the State Govt.s so far have not been promoting these treasures.

Murdeshwar is a fantastic place. The beach is beautiful. Another thing is that on the otherside when you go past RN Shetty Resorts etc. there are some wonderfull cliffs on which you can sit and watch a glorious sunset against an oceanic horizon meeting 180 degree of coconut coast and also a couple o...f small islands in the sea.
Once you’ve been ther Murdeshwar beckons you everytime you are in Coastal Karnataka.

Great Review.
For Shivani : Decent Hotels near market - Rajesh, Dreamland, Panaroma, Valley View these are very close in range (8,500/- to 12,500/- 3Nights all meals) in proximity Uday, Regal, Shreyas, Lake Plaza etc. (Slightly cheaper). The all meals plan give buffet systems but are sticklers for... fixed times.
Nothing like eating corn pattice and strawberry cream at Mahabaleshwar.
If you got car head out for a night tiff at farm restaurants a little beyond lake for strawberry cream.'

it is interesting you mention flys. Normally one thinks that AC is a useless expense at a Hill Station esp as cold as Kodai but other reasons abound. I think these guys are not taking apropriate and prompt care of garbage and waste disposal therefore the flys must be proliferating. What a black spot... on an otherwise fairly good resort.Read More

Quite a good and clear review. All this homestays is dicey. They do not have professionalism and cannot even afford it as a result the consumer suffers.
