Automatic Gear Vs. Manual Gear

Hi, I happen to own a Toyota Camry fully automatic with full power options. I agree with you on many points except two things, like mental alertness in a traffic situation, the same alertness applies for automatic car users as we cant afford to be complacent in a tight traffic situation. This is imm...aterial whether we are shifting the gears or not, One has to be on one's toes to manouver the car through tight spots. Another point I disagree with is the downhill trip ,where you say we have to apply brakes all throughout the descend, eventhough our cars are automatic we do have low gears like d2 and d1 which are equivalent to manual 2nd and 3rd gears.
