One more update - I had contacted Lenovo team as well and they are looking into the issue. The genuiness from Lenovo side to find a solution was evident from the email which they wrote to me. So I would change my recommendation on buying a lenovo product from 'No' to 'Yes'.

Just booked an apartment with Sobha

Ok. One final comment me from since I have taken the hand over from them few weeks back and registration is due next week. So experience till now, 1) CRM team - Helpful and reachable always. I might have called them atleast 20 times till now and not once I had issue in reaching them. 2) Qu...ality - I am satisfied with the quality of work done by them. Both interior and exterior work. 3) Timeliness - I did not find much delays overall. 4) Overall - They are currenlty doing the roadwork to the apartment(1.5Km stretch) when almost all the apartments in this complex had been sold out. There is no agreement on paper that they would do this. This single act of theirs is going to make huge change in quality of life for us in next 3 months(Planning to move in there and monsoon also starting). So my recommendation remains the same.Read More

I have made 100% payments to Sobha already(since the hand over is planned in 2 months) except the registration charges etc and still my interactions with their CRM team has been smooth. I went to their office today had discussion for 40 min related to registration and hand over of the apartment. I d...id not find any issue with transparency etc. About the construction based payment schedule- According to my agreement it is construction based payment and there is a clause for penalty in case there is a delay for more than 6 months. But in case prelaunch booking the risk is with the approvals which the builders doesn’t have any control and they will have clauses not to give penalty in such cases. I feel regulator in Indian contest is an utopia considering the corruption in the system. What might happen is that regulator will approve only selected projects for which they will ask money from the builder and in turn builder recovers from customer driving the price again upwards with no value addition. So still my recommendation for Sobha remains the same. Read More
