My Shayri - For broken hearts

Posted on Oct 07, 2008 under General

Pyaar main hamaare har pal hai sookun milta,
Sapno ko hamare ishq ki haqequat ka kinara hai milta.

Jab jaana itne khush nasib bhi nahin hain hum,
par yaar ki bewafai main bhi wafa ka deedar hai milta

Thoughts - Feeling sad

Posted on Oct 07, 2008 under General

I look at my car windshield, small drops of rain blurring the view ahead,
the viper washes away those drops, but i feel there are some stains on my heart,
which would never be wiped away, those stains have gone deep in my life like wounds.

These wounds now have started hurting me at every happy moment of my life, it's true
the rose has to bear it's thorn's and so do i have to bare with my close one's
They are all leeches who drain my emotions away, every time i got close to my own people
i burnt my hands in the politics of relationships, to me every relation seems twisted, manipulated.

My mind does not know whom to trust and whom not to, even the rainbow in the sky fades does not stay forever, and so do happy moments in my life elope like a rainbow from the sky of my fate.

Power woes driving me nuts :-(

Posted on Sep 03, 2008 under General

The bad news just don't stop coming, Dilip walse patil(current power minister-Maharashtra) claims that Maharashtra would be self sufficient for it's power requirement by 2010, somebody please tell him don't crack jokes, everyday MSECDL is on a rampage to hike load shedding as the day's go by, they have now resorted up to 7 hrs of load shedding.

I have started failing to understand what's gone wrong with the power supply sources, just that i know is the demand for power is rising, so it is surely going to be, becasue the city is growing.

I have turned into a night owl due to erratic MSECDL load shedding schedules, sleep throughout the day, even iron my office clothes during the night time, the power goes off by 9:30 or 10:00 am resumes at 1:15 or 2:30 pm, goes again at 3:30 pm or 4:00 pm and resumes back on 6:15 or 7:15 pm, by that time i'm gone to my office.

This has prompted me to go for an inverter now, i know i would have to blow up considerable amount of money for it, but cant help anymore, things are turning from bad to worse, industries being forced to bare 34hrs of power cut, have these people really gone mad, who would invest in Maharashtra, situation is more worse in villages.

Rainy memories

Posted on Aug 11, 2008 under General

Heavy rains lashing Mumbai city today, just drove from Mumbai to Pune today afternoon, had almost zero visibility on the highway, while driving through the city roads in Navi Mumbai, spotted school kids dressed like the uniform i had in my school, White shirt and Maroon pants, saw a kid drenched completely in rain, riding his cycle.

We had school early morning for few years and sometimes during afternoon during some years, could not bunk school anytime when it was early morning since i used to share a rickshaw with my school friends, going along with my grandma sometimes or my friends parents, when it used to flood in mumbai and if i had an afternoon school, i used to be coaxed by my grandpa to go to school and come back if it was cancelled.

I used to love monsoons more at home looking through the window, waiting for the water to fill up in my building compound for me to go out and play in the muddy water, never made paper boats though, i used to wait for a day during the monsoon season for the school to announce a half day or a holiday, returning back home seemed more fun, when i used to get drenched purposefully even though i had an umbrella or a raincoat, liked to rotate open umbrella and throw rain water on friends, used to buy bright umbrella with favourite cartoon characters.

Having hot tea and some crispy breakfast really livens up my senses during the rains, the only difference now is i watch children roam freely in my housing complex's garden playing in the water accumulated in garden compound, now i feel that though i hated going to school during monsoon but it was real fun. i now play some celtic or instrumental music when it rains, stand in my terrace gallery or relax on a chair, of course with tea or coffee and some crispy snacks!

Agent's of Chaos

Posted on Jul 27, 2008 under General

It's surprising with the number of new terror groups thriving in India, we were used to hearing one name Lashkar-E-Toiba before which had a stronghold in the Kashmir valley, soon the warlords found out that fighting in Kashmir is not worth enough, since our government also has become numb to the kashmir issue and has left the valley to turn into a burning ruins.

ISI now rests upon home grown terror cells which have diverted attention of security agencies in all directions, it becomes difficult to target multiple terror cells rather than one group as they operated earlier, so news chanels blaring high and loud raising security questions on the governement would host few talk shows for some days and these issues would be put to backburner and again "the great khali", a tiger and tigress on honeymoon and pitfall events would take centrestage.

Somwhere we have also stopped reacting to these events, which is good in a way since it helps preventing outbreak of communal events, our personal lives have more problems at hand, rising crude oil which has damaged our home budgets, inflation, rainfall issues, power woes, so do you think these terror events would stay for long on people's mind ?

UPA government has just managed to stay in power by a whisker and the very same day news channels featured happy happy images of our prime minister playing "singh is king" song in the backdrop, really cheap!, so inflation was not just the problem on hand for our prime minister but the new terror attacks would again send the recovering Indian economy going down if not the crude oil.

The terrorists seems t be impresses with gujjar agitation and they have got another reason to break the hell loose on the common man, so i feel mr raj thackrey should understand that "marathi manoos" mentality would further break this nation in social sectors and not a nation, it's time we stop making unreasonable demands of our caste and creed and rise and fight this terror menace as one.

Do they really care about Global Warming

Posted on Jul 15, 2008 under General

I happened to read an article in Pune Times few days back, which read that Akshay Kumar has now started flying in his own jet like SRK does, the Ambani brother's have their own planes, now Maharashtra's chief minister has ordered his own private jet.

I had seen Akshay Kumar appeal to audience at bangkok IIFA Awards function to fight global warming, so does he not know that the ATF cost is on a all time high, air travel companies are struggling to make profits and private air travel can be the worst possible means to pollute environment.

Mr Manmohan singh has advised his minsiters to cut down on foriegn travels, so are the ministers going to order their own private planes and fly around the world, feels sad to hear people appealing to combat global warming flying around on their own private polluting air-wings.
