hi munir! well, the first thing that came to my mind while reading your revu was; i felt, as if i was reading a letter, one of my friends wrote to me from USA. the revu is so passionately and honestly written that it feels as if you were writing a letter to your friend or a personal journal. i... do agree with your point of view but i would also like to mention that i've met some people who've been in US for years but they are perfectly normal. they haven't changed. but on the other hand, i have also known few Indian kids who were born there and have no respect whatsoever for India. you see, once someone gets used to that kind of environment and money, it must be difficult to come back to India. ofcourse there are few people like you who listen to their hearts... the whole thing is that... oh yeah sabse bada rupaiyya for sure and also that if you look at things logically, no one's wrong. neither the ones who want to enjoy luxuries there nor people like you who want to come back home. aur rahi baat respect ki, you cannot force anyone to respect something that you respect... forget about that you can't force people to respect you or if we take a more philosophical route, you can't force people to even respect themselves. last but not the least, only a moron can call his parents moron! great, thought provoking revu! cheers! bharatiRead More

Hi! That was such a beautifully and passionately written review! SIMPLY SUPERB! What I loved the most about the revu was, it was so detailed that after a point I was worried ke kahin suspense na reveal kar do aap! I haven't yet seen the film. I have got good revus about the film, from my frie...nds too and after reading your revu, I am no longer going to deprive myself of the film. Sepia tone... hmmm... that term is mostly known to people who are into photography or associated with film-making. Interesting! Great revu buddy! Cheers! Bharati Read More

Dear Sanjeevji, Well, you haven't left any scope for me to say anything by writing such a well-written and emotionally touching revu. Infact an awesome revu! It is the best book revu I have read in a very long time... It's so amazing that Madhubala created history in those few years that ...she worked. There very few god gifted and talented human beings who have that kind of charisma and who leave their names behind forever... Madhubala died decades ago but her beauty is a legend and your revu not only pays a tribute to her but also gives information about her tragic personal life. Great work! Cheers! BharatiRead More

Dear Sanjeevji, First of all, my apologies for not replying to your messages. I was too tied up with work. And I just realised I have missed some of the most amazing reviews written by you. this revu was absolutely fantastic! Loved your choices. Escpecially, Ruk jaana nahin, Ek pyar ka nag...hma hai, mere dil mein aaj kya hai, mere mehboob qayamat hogi and jab jab bahar aayi.... I think LP were the most versatile and popular music directors after Shankar Jaikishen. Great revu! Cheers! BharatiRead More

Often we see the songs of yore on our TV sets or hear them on the radios or on our hi-fi music systems. But honestly, how many of us listen to them and enjoy them? There are too many distractions clamouring for our attention and we remain preoccupied with our priorities and commitments. In our d...Read more

Ranju, Thanks for your comment. I am shocked that my review was so hurtful to you that you were forced to leave such a rude comment. Firstly, here’s what I have to say: 1)How do Keralites look like otherwise or rather how do you visualise their physical appearance. Case you don’...t know (and I am sure u don’t) John Abraham happens to be a Keralite I THINK YOU NEED TO RE-READ MY REVU. I NEVER COMMENTED ON THE LOOKS OF KERALITES. I MENTIONED THAT THE CHARACTERS IN THE FILM DO NOT LOOK LIKE KERALITES. I’M EXTREMELY SORRY IF YOU CAN’T READ BASIC ENGLISH :( 2) I don’t recall any other recent movie which shows sex so asthetically. Do u Asthetically!!!! THE CORRECT SPELLING IS AESTHETICALLY! WELL, THIS IS POSSIBLE! THANKFULLY, WE DO HAVE DIFFERENT STANDARDS AS FAR AS AESTHETICS ARE CONCERNED. WHAT’S AESTHETHIC FOR YOU, WAS CHEAP FOR ME! 3) Its a movie yaar! So what if the pastor looks like a model. Don’t think you would have watched had he looked like Rajpal Yaadav WHEN I SAID THE PRIEST LOOKS LIKE A MODEL, I MEANT HIS MANNERISMS DIDN’T IN ANYWAY CONVEY THAT HE WAS A PRIEST! GOT IT? I KNOW IT’S A MOVIE. WHAT YOU NEED TO UNDERSTAND IS THAT, IT’S ONLY A REVU! Last but not the least, it was my opinion and MS gives us all equals rights to express our opinion. If you take reviews so seriously, NEVER ADD YOUR COMMENT! Goodbye! BharatiRead More

Hey! I was pleasantly surprised to see a review on Keep Alive. I have been a part of Keep Alive for over 3 years now. I have attended some magnificent KA shows and met some outstanding people. Manoharji is in a different league altogether. Not only is he a Hindi film encyclopedia but also an ...incredible human being. Unfortunately, because of some unforeseen circumstances, I’m no longer a regular at the shows but I immensely miss being there and I hope, soon I will be back to those musical evenings! That was a lovely review! Well, what more can I say, you brought back those wonderful memories. Cheers, Bharati Read More

I have seen the film and you've managed to narrate the story beautifully. doosra aadmi is not my favourite but i loved raakhi's character in the film. i also love the music of the film. especially k...ya mausam hai... it is beautifully picturised. i watched the movie about a month back so it was fresh in my mind and i could associate more with your revu! once again, kya review hai..!!! cheers! bharatiRead More
