In September this year I took my bike and did a long journey upto Keylong i.e. traversed Rohtangpass (it was 710 Kms one way). On the third day I drove my bike all the way from Keylong to Delhi in less than 21 hours (including 12 hours night driving in the hills). The 7 years old Bajaj Caliber gave ...no trouble. Next year my bike may take me upto Leh traversing three-four passes and may the God permit, I will be able to take it to Khardungla - the highest motorable road in the world at 18,000 feet +. Although I am 54+ Years old but I am sure I can do it with this bike.Read More

I am one of the few lucky ones whose bajaj caliber 115 was stolen from office complex on 16th December, 2009 and with God's grace my bike was recovered by Police and handed over to me on 14th January, 2010. So I have got extra attachment with my bike. In between these 28 days, I actually visited...Read more

Hi man, I agree on a lot of points. Although, I purchased my first car that too a Wagon R last year and and never driver a four wheeler earlier, I have been to Dehradun a couple of times with my wife and 14 years old daughter. The drive was smooth, that too despite no earlier experience of dri...ving on high ways and in rainy seasons with extremely bad roads. So far, I have no regrets. All the best. Happy driving !!!!Read More

Hi man, While I might agree with you on a lot of observations, but still I think the cost is on the higher side and the company shall have to offer price cut sooner to remain in the competitive market. As for mileage, you have exaggerated it. It certainly is not a family car unless you have sma...ll kids may be not over 10 yrs old. The rear seats may not be too comfortable even for old people alongwith a kid to their side. However, wish you a happy and smooth driving. All the best.. bhar_dwaj Read More

Hi, While some of your observations can be true, but as for your observations regarding rear seating space that too for a 5'11' person, might not be true and is too much exaggerated. It does not look to be a family car !!!! not to my mind... The cost is also on the higher side, whatever be the ...features. Sooner than expected by many, the company shall have to offer price cut to boost its sale and for survival in this competitive market. I know you may not agree with my views as you have already put in your hard earned money!!! bhar_dwajRead More

Thanks Kris, even the new model of Wagon R has outnumbered the zen estilo with great great margin although it was introduced very recently. Do you have any observation about accessories like stereo system - should get from dealer or from outside and will loose insurance benefit in case any electroni...c fault occurs when I get it fitted from outside. The market dealers say don't worry. We fit it in the same manner as the MGA people do it in the dealers showroom.Read More

Hi, Sree007 Thanks. I have heard the gearshift in both the cars is more or less the same speciallyf rom 4th to 5th. Keeping in mind the cost factor, I have decided for Wagon R LXI and it does not have powerwindows. But as you agree, it is widely acceptable. Thanks again.

Hi, Virgo/ Hi Neil I agree the interior of Zen, Estilo looks better than wagon R. But, Sir, I have to spent around Rs.3.60 lakhs. So I invested in a model which is clearly/visibly acceptable by masses. Hi, Virgo123. the owners of Wagon R are I am sure also intelligent people. Zen from outside... looks a small car. May be it may look better in the hands of fair sex. Yours comments, my esteemed friends!!!Read More

Thanks for your opinion. About comparison in numbers with Zen, may be, in Delhi, I think I should have seen more of this car as it has been launched early this year. In fact I personally talked to one owner of Zen Estilo. He recommended it. But still I thought wagon R a better choice.
