I believe that a review is a scopic view of scene /s that you witness in shor...t and putting across what you liked from the viewers perspective giving an overall screenshot!!
It is not more of how the story unfolds than the plot and its thought... It is also a comparision with similar cinema and why this scene/s are worth a dekko or not, as against how the other scene/s fared before this...!!! Its an overall non prejudiced view..Thats a review for me.
I also like going a bit technical because some taking of scenes is just too impressive to be missed and when that scene means a lot more than what a dialogue can explain... I have to explain it...

This kind of cinema is known a REFORMIST CINEMA... where the morals of the society are trashed and a cause upheld!! Its a deliberate attack on the evils who thrive on making others weak and then make the weak an underdog and make it win!!

yes, he stands as the backbone to fuel gauri's need to assert herself... He is the seed that grows in gauri's mind and eventually starts to worship him... Weakness is despicable in any form!!

The music by Shankar Jaikishen is mind blowing! I love Suno Chotisi Ki Gudiyaa... and Tu Pyaar Ka Saagar... Kahaan Jaa Raha Hai... is equally brilliant! And Manna Dey saab.... fantastic!!

Welcome back!
This film is all about Balraj Sahni... It is more about the voice to his thoughts through the protagonist Gauri!!
And she brings to life the morals that Ashok is striving to drive through the society!!
The songs raise goose pimples on you just because the meaning is s...o real and it applies....
Like I said, reformist cinema at its best... Thank you for reminding me of it...

Good summation of the book!! But like I have mentioned in your other Meyebela review, here also a wee bit more content in terms of explanations would have added a lit bit of colour to the views expressed!!
