Safely go for CBZ-X. Though CBZ-X and Unicorn have same engine, Unicorn is slightly more expensive than CBZ, also people say that spares of HMSI are more expensive. I have a four months old CBZ-X. It is excellent. Smooth and silent. Gear shifting is probably the best in market. I get a mileage of... about 58-60 kmpl, usually people get something in the range 45-50 kmpl (depends on your driving style).Read More

1. There was a systematic hype during the time of its launching. Lot of reviews and comments said that CBZX is a stupid looking bike. In reality, it is just opposite, possibly the best looking bike on road. 2. I bought it in March, and have been using it for about a month. It is very stable, with... excellent handling. I discarded Pulasr after a test ride, mainly because of balance problem at sharp turns. 3. This bike can run at 5th gear, at a speed of 25 kmph WITHOUT ANY KNOCKING in normal city conditions. That is how it gives a much better mileage, with minimum stress on engine, and eliminating the need of frequent gear changing. 4. I am getting a mileage of approximately 60 kmpl, wit POWER petrol. It also depends on riding style. However, I have also asked many people randomly on road, this bike gives a comfortable mileage of 45-50 kmpl to anybody, irrespective of riding style.Read More

The review appears to me like an advertisement. There is no real input which can guide a prospective buyer, only criticism of other bikes.

You seem to be a happy man with your new bike. Hope your happiness continues over years. You have made a comment that Xtreme has poor mileage -- I would like to contradict on this point. My new CBZ Xtreme is giving a mileage of approximately 62-63 kmpl !! I hope this continues.

It is just one month, I have a new CBZ-Xtreme. I am totally frustrated. In our entire residential colony, it is the only CBZ-X. Everyday something happens with it. Either somebody makes a scratch, or I find the cover is removed, and couple of times petrol has been stolen. This is happening only with... my bike, and for last eight yeras I had no problem with my old Bajaj 100 4S. Is it an ideal example of neighbour's envy? I do not know, but I am really disappointed. Perhaps I should have bought a common 100cc bike.Read More

My mechanic is fairly honest, and when I asked for his opinion about 150cc bike, he advised me to go for HH CBZX without any hesitation. I have also taken random feedback from many users of CBZX, and the reputation is quite encouraging. I should have been an owner of CBZX by the beginning of January... itself, but still waiting for candy blazing red, which has not yet reached our city.Read More

Bajaj designers are so tired of designing Pulsar, they have lost all their imaginative capacity to design something new.

Encouraging review!! The comment that you have made on the engine oil quality is not clear. I am also going to buy CBZ-X very soon, and so I need this clarification. (1) Why does it use 1T oil only? (2) And why should the oil be consumed heavily if a person rides the bike at an average sp...eed of 40-50 kmph? (3) Will it not be appropriate if someone uses commonly available good quality engine oils such as Castrol GTX (I use it for my present bike)?Read More

Thank you very much for your response. I also have heard what you are saying about Bajaj, I have already discarded Pulsar (though the Bajaj dealer in our city is quite good, and I received a good after sale service also). About Apache, I know it is too early to say anything on its long term engine p...erformance. So I have zeroed on HH. Your feedback on Achiever is good enough. I also had Achiever in my mind earlier, but presently concentrating only on Xtreme because of two reasons (a) look of Xtreme, and (b) common 3 inch rear tyre of Achiever, and not the 100/90 which comes with Xtreme. The new Achiever also looks good, with alloy wheels, don't know about its tyre width. Anyway, I think finally I can conclude that my selection on HH engine-gearbox is not a wrong one.Read More

Thanks for your suggestion. In fact I also believe that TVS Star with self start is the best 100cc bike in the market at present, and I have suggested my two colleagues to buy this. However, after using a 100cc bike for nearly 10 years (KB 100 4S Champion, with Kawasaki engine, has given excellent s...ervice), I have now decided to go for 150cc bike only, and therefore would appreciate advices on 150cc bikes only, especially if someone can give inputs on CBZ Xtreme.Read More

The first impression This is not a complete review, just my first impression about CBZ-Xtreme. The original version of CBZ may be a very good bike, both in terms of look and performance. However, this one is also superb, the photographs really do not depict the real look, for which I had to v...Read more

Yes, first visit, no problem. But second visit? Be careful. Either you have to purchase a bike, or be prepared to get insulted. Forget about a request for test-ride. I am not generalizing this, but I had exactly similar experience on last Sunday, when I entered Yamaha showroom for the second ...Read more

I agree to your views. Recently I have written a review on Bajaj Champion model. In fact, CT 100 is a modified version of that, and I think I should have written that review under CT100 section. My eight years of experience simply votes for CT100, in the 100cc segement.

It is perhapsa bit surprising to read a review on 4S Champion, an almost obsolete model, when people are writing reviews on Discover, Pulsar, etc. I am writing this review after using the bike for nearly eight years. I saw a lot of comments in the other reviews of this bike, which actually promp...Read more
