Hero Honda Splendor Plus

hi PinakiP, 55/60 BULB FIXING IN SPLENDOR PLUS I WENT TO A MECHANIC, AND GOT THE ALTERNATOR COIL AND MAGNET COIL REMOVED FROM BIKE. AND TOOK THE COIL TO A COIL RE-WINDING SHOP. AND INFORMED THEM OF HEADLIGHT MODIFICATION WITH 55/60 WATT BULB. THEY WILL RE-WINDED THE COIL AND GAVE YOU AND ...THEY BOOSTED UP THE POWER TO THE MAGNETIC COIL TOO. NOW THEIR WORK IS FINISHED. NOW, TAKING THE COILS I CAME TO THE MECHANIC, THE MECHANIC FIXED THE COILS, AND I CHANGED THE BULB- PHILIPS 55/60W, THAT'S IT. I GOT FULL POWER WHEN I RIDE AT THE SPEED OF 35KMS. YOU WILL GET THIS POWER ONLY IN PHILIPS BULB. I USED SOME OTHER BRANDS LIKE HALONIX, ASPA, BUT IN PHILIPS, THE LIGHT IS MORE BRIGHTER AS COMPARED TO OTHER BRANDS. OR YOU CAN USE PHILIPS EXTREME VISION 55/60W OR OSRAM NIGHT BREAKER PLUS 55/60. THAT WILL BE THE BEST. BUT IT MAY COST THOUSAND RUPEES PER BULB. BUT IF YOU USE, PHILIPS 35/35W WHICH IS THE DEFAULT OF HHSP+ BULB. YOU WILL HAVE EXCELLENT POWER EVEN AT 20KMS SPEED IN TOP GEAR. BUT WHEN YOU RIDE AT 50KMS SPEED THE BULB WILL FUSE. SO CHANGE IT TO 55/60. YOU WILL HAVE VERY CLEAR AND BRIGHT VISION EVEN WHEN VEHICLES COMING IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION WITH THEIR HIGH BEAM ON. I THINK THE HEAT PRODUCED BY PHILIPS 55/60W BULB WILL MELT THE SPLENDOR REFLECTOR, I HAVE CHANGED THE HEAD LIGHT. SO ACCORDING TO YOUR LIKING, YOU NEED TO CHANGE THE HEAD LIGHT REFLECTOR PORTION-WHICH SUITS AND LOOKS GOOD. ENJOY . . .Read More

Dear ujval_srk P180 mileage depends on our driving style. For my friend, it returns 35. He is a sane driver. And for some others it returns 55. Between the speed of 50 to 60. But we should take a great care in run-in period.
