Sorry to see Pradeep's comment. Why would a company like Reliance would put their employee to write a review about their company.
You shouldn't have jumped to such conclusion. I wrote this review, only because I worked with similar business in US and when the store opened infront of my home, I cou...ldn't resist finding out how they are doing their business.

About your second comment on not recieving the DVD and system showing the status as DVD delivered....here is the analysis and my own experience.
When the runner packs his bag to deliver the movies to all the customers, the status in the w...ebsite gets updated to 'Delivered'. It's a drawback with the system. Since, there is no way of tracking where the DVD is enroute, they update the status as 'Delivered' once the runner leaves the distribution center. This was my experience when I enrolled and later learnt about the system. Now, as with you, even, I didn't get the DVD on time for first 3-4 days. Once, the Runner found out my home, he knew where 'Vinay' lives :-). So, after the 4th day, the system was on track and I started receiving the DVD as per the schedule. Just to let you know, in most cities they have two shifts to deliver/pickup the movies. The first shift is from 2pm to 6pm and the second one is from 7pm to 10pm. This may change to a single shift, when they have more subscribers. It may so happen that the runner may not be able to find some addresses of new subscribers and he may get delayed and you don't get your DVD on that day :-(. That's the sad part. But, once the Runner knows where you live and gets used to the route, you can be assured that you get your movies regularly.
Coming to 'Why am I so satisfied with this service?' - I have seen how things are in US and how things are in India. To run a business like this in India is no joke and Reliance BigFlix is making efforts to improve things. I have learnt to reason and analyze things when they don't work as I expect and I would like to give them a chance. I make sure that I provide my inputs and suggestions through their website, both positive and negative, which may help improve things. Other than initial 3-4 days of issues, I have not had any issues so far. So, I am a Happy Customer :-). Good Luck.Read More

I am glad that things are better in Chennai and you got a good response and suggestion from the staff at LIC. Wish Pune office gets some teachings on customer service.
BTW, I have read the documents completely. There is no mention of the 45 days time frame that I have mentioned in my review... anywhere in the document.Read More
