Murali, it's sad to see your case The same thing happened to me as well. Please read my review posted on 3rd feb. I finally got my refund after 1.5 months. I suggest if you still have enough days left from the date of journey then first send a cancellation mail to them immediately so that you have s...ome proof to show. Then you keep on asking them for refund and if you find they are not responding fast enough then threaten the to take legal action. also if you know some friends in media tell makemytrip that you will send this story to them. As last resort go to consumer court. But you will have to speak to them strongly only then they will refund you else they will just fool you around.Read More

After my persistent calling and seeing my review on mouthshut.com makemytrip has finally refunded the amount to my bank account. Thanks to mouthshut and to everyone here for giving suggestions. My advice to makemytrip is why they give people chance to go to various forums and post comment about th...em. I was just seeing my review and I noticed around 300 people read this review, how much business loss this would have caused them even if 2-3 % people get influenced after reading this review. Instead of that if they had a number where people could complain and they take prompt action then no one would post such a review. I posted this review only after I have made several calls to them for no use. Once the review is posted they acted quite quickly, though I would say it still took 2 weeks.Read More
