I will be away from MS upto 25th Dec, I am just taking a temporary break. As many of you are aware that I am pursuing a Diploma course, my exams are approaching very fast. I have yet to start my studies and need to start studying immediately so as to get atleast passing marks.

If you feel any DP/revu/poem that you write might interest me, please send me a M2M, I will try my best to read and comment. If any Msian is celebrating their birthday, someone please inform me so that I do not lag behind in wishing them.

You all can have a little respite from my posts and competitions, meanwhile I will try to comment on ur articles whenever possible.

Just saw the breaking news on Star news Channel. A woman called up at ITC Fortune( It is located in Vashi, near Palm Beach Galleria) and threatened to blow up the hotel. The hotel is being vacated at present. A request to those traveling to Mumbai / Navi Mumbai , please do not visit unless it is absolutely necessary to do so.

People think they will be cowards if they do not venture out after such acts, but do they spend a minute to think that they add to the problems of already over burdened Police Force.

101 persons are dead out of which 9 are foreigners , 288 persons are injured according to latest estimates. People are admitted to various hospitals in the city. The rescue operation is continuously going on. Many innocent people have lost their lives and there are hostages held. Please pray for peace in the city and country.

No offence is meant to anyone and it is just for fun...

A thought just occurred to me and I got bitten by the curiosity bug ;-)
With no offence towards anyone, I would like answers for few questions that I am posing :

1) Do you write a review on a book without mentioning the story, excerpts or characters in the story from the book itself?
2) Do you write a review on a movie without mentioning the story, excerpts/scenes or characters in the story from the movie itself?
3) Do you write a review on a music album without hearing the songs in the album or write lyrics of the tracks in the album without copying it from somewhere?
4) Do you write a review on a product without taking it’s features from it’s manual, website or from the product itself?

There are many questions and I won’t bore you with them. I just want to bring it to notice of others that when you write a review on something, some info has to be sourced from somewhere. It is not copy paste when you write the info in your own words. Copy paste means copying it exactly as it is. There is some info that you may already know and it is available on many sites..

For eg, If I write about Mumbai, naturally the same info is available on net too and I too know most of that info as I have lived most of my life in this city.

We all have to do some research or have some source of info to write any article and it doesn’t mean that one has copied unless it is copy pasted.
