(Updated Jul 17, 2004 04:42 PM)

I was kind of weary of going to another movie where New York City gets converted to a dump. And on seeing it, I knew my senses were right. The use of special effects inThe Day After Tomorrow is terrific, and the events have been brought about as close to reality as possible. But as usual with...Read more

The Last Samurai I remember reading somewhere that making movies is a much more complicated form of story telling, and it takes the effort of many men to make it a good entertaining one. With this in mind, I have to say that The Last Samurai does not fail to deliver. Coming back to my firs...Read more

Yeah, I agree with ur point that u2 is the best around for the time, better than the scores of boy-bands and rap stuff. Good review, and let's hope they have more to give in the future. Arun

And like you said, the fut...ure is definitely bleak. By the way, I too am an alumni. Regards, ArunRead More

I have to be very frank about why I ever picked up this book from the book store. First of all, during one of my interviews for an MBA admission, I proudly told them that I read R.K. Narayan’s books. Their response seemed almost spontaneous, “Have you read Swami and Friends?” I...Read more
