Hello Jody, and Jhiingu, I'm glad you enjoyed this movie, how lucky Jody that your son saw this in 3-D that must have been fun for him. I didn't get that opportunity to see this in 3 D. Anyway I'm glad you enjoyed this movie. I thought this was a very good movie. Best wishes to you both.

When I saw the advertisement for this film I was taken back with enthusiasm, and laughter. The DVD preview shows a mildly elderly man sitting on the porch of his house, and saying "evening" as his house begins to lift from the ground and in the air. How to enjoy, unhappiness and poverty and make world love you.

Well Spoken Spoken like a real geniune countryman. Poverty humbles people. Wealth makes people proud, and ugly they tend to forget about god, and the simple things in life. Smile! good thoughts here.

Hello Friends, Thanks so much for educating me. I certainly understand your defience of this film, and certainly your words speak volumes. I would agree that quite often the American media and Hollywood gets its thrills out of glorifying the negative side of life especially when it comes to non w...hite cultrues, so I most definitly understand your anger here. However, I appreciate films like 'Slumdog Millionaire' because of its most meaningful element of over coming the odds of life's difficulties. In this outstanding theatrical work I saw a profile of a young man that beat the overwhelming odds of corruption even in a game show, law enforcement, and became rich. I was most sadden at the sight of proverty and crime along with the exploitation of young children. Unfortunately, this element in our societies exits including America it's an element we just don't like to be confronted with ,nor do we won't it exposed to the public let along through film. Best wishes and thanks for r/r/c this review.Read More
