Hey - this was a good detailed review. Will really help me since I am planning to design the interiors of my new flat myself.

I didn't find any useful info here except for the price (which I could have got very easily from anywhere). It seems you've gone for it only because it looks good. No talk of features, etc.?

I don't think what Himesh Reshamiya thinks he 'sings' can be put in the catagory of 'Music' - not at least the same music that likes of Kishor Kumar, Mohd. Rafi or Manna De have given life to (Yes it can be regarded as some form of poetry recitation if you like). And none of these singers had to we...ar an eye-covering-cap and grow a stubble and hold he mike (as if he's doing a bottoms-up) to make a name for themselves - their voice and deep knowledge of music did the job for them.Read More

Hi Sonali... nice review... though just one point in your review which i disagree with - 'its not a mini Singapore and will never be one'. Though I haven't been to either places, I can surely imagine the differences you mentioned - however, I believe that while it might be very difficult for any ind...ian city to become a singapore, it is certainly not impossilbe. Those living in Singapore are also humans like us indians... so if we really want, we can be even better than them - but the problem is, we ourselves don't take care of simple things like keeping our surroundings clean - thinking, 'how can i alone change things?' Call me an optimist... but this is what i believe. However, once again... nice honest review!Read More

Nice unbiased review. I could make out that you are very clear about what you feel about this movie. And ya - one of my best friends had recommended Hazaaron Khwahishen Aisi to me but I never got around to watching it. I think I will now...

You seem to be confused my friend - this was supposed to be a review about the movie and not your personal biased opinion about AB. Also, I hope you are old enough to realise that in movies, the actor portray 'characters' who may do things that we may find right or wrong - but that does not mean th...ey are doing something right or wrong! By your logic, Amrish Puri would be a tyrant in real life!!Read More

Pardon me for adapting your style of review writing in my comment below. Going with the excitement that you are a 'star' writer, I started reading your reviews. I had to bear the pain for as much time as i read your ridiculous reviews. If there is any pain in the unmentionables around, it seems to... be this review and if there is any idiot around, it seems to be the one writing such reviews. C'mmon there are better ways to grab attention - for example, by writing some sensible stuff.Read More

I have been going through reviews written by Kamin and have been wondering... Why does she always have something terrible to say about Amitabh Bachhan, Abhishekh Bachhan, DRDO? Why does she always have something good (make it great) to say about Shahrukh? The following lines from her profile tel...l me something about what this girl thinks of herself..... 'I get so tired of just being told I’m pretty.' Kamini, you better just spend more time admiring yourself in the mirror than abusing good quality actors about whose talent you seem to have absolutely no idea.Read More

Kamini, I read some of your other reviews and I have conculded the following: 1 - You try to write something 'different' just to grab attention - like lambasting Amitabh or the DRDO. 2 - You have very little understanding of most issues and have very little artistic appreciation (or rather appreci...ation for anything at all) 3 - You have a terrible inferiority complex - which I conclude from point 1. 4 - The next thing I am going to do after finishing this comment is to put you on my 'distrust' list!Read More

Dear Kamin, I wonder if you really understand what 'research' means. As the word itself suggests - it's re-search - meaning - try something, and if you fail, try again till you succeed. It's all too easy to sit on the fence and criticise the efforts of people who are really making a serious atte...mpt to take the country forward. Your suggestion about 'outsourcing' the defence system to USA or China is an exemplification of your immaturity and poor understanding of such issues - for God's sake, it's to protect ourselves from a US or a China that we are building our defence!! I think it might be a good idea for you to go and live in US or China and enjoy their defence services. Then we will have more constructive people left behind in India.Read More

It is really shocking to read about this kind of unethical practices being followed by TATAs of all people!. I have no reason to disbelieve it because I have also gone through a similar rigmarole with Standard Chartered Credit Card. It's time the regulatory authorities did something about these th...ings.Read More

I am surprised at this review. I have been driving a Swift VXi since last 1 year and 9 months and i feel it's a real good car for the money! I agree on one point though - there are some points of rattle which come up occassionally (usually the boot door or the windows). However, pickup-wise it's ...quite good. I'm getting a mileage of 15 and comfort-wise i think it's as big and good as (if not better than) honda city. A lot depends on how you maintain and drive the vehicle. I'll advise you to get a thorough checkup done at an authorised dealer and also check if you are following good driving practices.Read More

Now I know that everyone has a right to his/her own opinion and this is your choice... but i feel any mention of top comedy movies is incomplete without mentionig Chupke-Chupke, Golmaal, Padosan and Angoor. By the way i liked all the movies you mentioned too... just that i have a soft spot for the ...ones i mentioned here... :-)Read More

I encountered a strange problem with my Swift yesterday. After parking my car in my porch, I locked the steering as usual. After a while, when I tried to start the car, the steering wouldn't budge!! I tried everything possible, but couldn't unlock the steering. I called up the service at Kataria... Automobiles, Vapi - someone arrived at 12 noon the next day! The dealer person couldn't open it so he asked me to call up their breakdown service. The breakdown service person arrived 7 hours later!! Finally, he could unlock it by tweaking a few wires. He told me that since this is electronic steering lock, some problem with the circuit could have caused the problem. I only thank my stars this didn't happen in the middle of the market place or something!Read More

I wouldn’t say this in front of my family or friends – it would really spoil my “I hate sob-sob formula Hindi movies” image.  But if I have to give an honest review of this film, let me say it…. “I liked Namaste London”(hope my wife doesn’t read this!) I haven't test driven this car - but even a cursory look at it's picture tells me how half-heartedly it's been made. A very basic flaw is evident from the pictures - the wipers are for left-hand drive cars!! Which means, in heavy rain, the poor indian driver would have a good part of his visibilit...y reduced - it could also be dangerous. If they couldn't change just the wiper setting, I shudder to think what could be inside! Call it a design blunder or plain disregard for the sensibility of the indian customer - Mahindra-Renault seems to have blown it!Read More

Hey, that was an excellent review! You really made me feel nostalgic about the movie - I've seen it several times but can watch it again any day. I especially liked the way you pointed out the 'between-the-lines' part of the movie. One more scene that tells about our dads' generation is the one w...here Neha's grandmom drops into their room and Vaswani is trying to cover the playboy kinda posters on their walls - that was hilarious! ;-) Wish we had more of such movies nowadays - as you mentioned - ones with 'simple storytelling'.Read More

Sorry, but I think that was less of a review and more of a vent to your frustrations - probably with your local dealer. It gave me no useful information - not my idea of a review.
