Hi, If I had a budget of 8.5 lacs for sedan class vehicle, my choices would ideally include City, SX4. City is very much accepted car on the indian roads and has been doing well. This would very well make me biased towards City. About my view on Aveo, I personally donot like the car much. And ...the fact fact remains, that it is not much seen on the roads. Other options that you might would like to check out is the Fiesta. But in all, I personally would advise you to go for the Honda City. Best of Luck. Thanks, Anwar.Read More

Hi Sanjay, Even I am Corsa owner for the last 3 years now. I have done 29k kilometers. I think you would end up in a loss in selling the vehicle at this time (with only 11K KMS clocked). My advice would be that you continue using the vehicle. And GM has promised spares and service availability... for 7 years after production was closed. And my belief is that there are a decent number of Corsa on road that we can see. So, parts should not be really an issue (i guess so). Lastly, just because a company has stopped production of a particular model, does it mean that the existing owners sell their vehicles? Upto you, remember that Corsa is very good car to drive. Hi, Good and informative review. No doubt that Nokia have ruled the indian mobile market in a big way. The Imate's, O2s and HTC are very attractive looking phones (lot of style statement). I think windows mobile serious users (the executive class of business men) would use the HP Phones mo...re... Anwar.Read More

Agreed to the the fact, that the Activa is purely meant for within the city travel. When it comes to open roads, it is not a great option.

The new gladiator looks very good. The black one with black alloys. But the fact remains, that the Unicorn is more accepted bike than the Gladiator in the automobile market. I know for sure that the Unicorn is better bike. I would have opted for the Unicorn, if I was in your place. Again, th...is is my personal suggestion. No hard feelings. Best of luck with your bike shopping. - AnwarRead More

Hi Hemalkeny, It is been now 2.5 years (roughly) that i have owned the Corsa Sail and i have covered 24k kilometers and I still enjoy the drive quality given by the Corsa. The bad part is this vehicle is not available in the showrooms (GM India stopped production). So, in case your friend is... interested, he has to look for one in the second hand market for one. I am not very sure about the Aveo U-VA. It is a quite an accepted model in the market (outside india), and looks like a decent option. But as far as my view goes, it is finally a re-badged daewoo. And the Corsa Sail is a german product. Hope this helps.Read More

Well nicely written about the experience you faced. I think it is all luck. I had shifted from Pune to Bangalore using Packers XYZ, and i just was impressed. The packers did a terrific job. So, when moving back from Bangalore to Pune, I opted for the same packers XYZ, and i was so shocked at t...he way they did the job... a total nightmare... So, i concluded that all packers are similar... and it is our luck that makes it good or bad... Read More

You are correct on the ’’Why?’’ points stated. But again, Desktops do suit some people. I will give some examples: When doing some rich graphics design work, desktops work best, as you can attach big 17’’-19’’ screen sizes with ease. And, also attach a second monitor as a dual monitor..., that expands displays. For the purposes of Software Development (I mean hard-core software developers prefer desktops (with larger screens). Then, it is so damn easy to upgrade desktop PCs. Lastly, GAMING goes best on desktops. Laptops do not have the keyboard convenience. Laptops are best suited for people who are looking for portability (real business travellers). - Anwar.Read More

Hi Muralidharan, Congrats on the purchase of you new car. But trust me friend, after a couple of weeks/months, you will start seeing problems in Safari, and then you have to run after the service station guys. Best of luck.

Personally I donot like Tata vehicles. Please note that is very personal outlook. But I enjoyed reading your review and I truly felt that it was a review from a very genuine owner and user of Indigo. Very well noted points.

The old Fiat Palio had somehow better looks than the new. Atleast for now, these are my comments. I always wish Fiat had done a better job in India. I am sure the Swifts and Getz would not match the Palio. Anyways, like good things come to an end. the Palio NV 1.2 is now closed. I am waiting... for the reviews on the new Fiat 1.6 Sport variant. I guess that would be a good buy. Read More
