Bro just wanted to add over here is, the EcoSport 1.0-litre turbocharged Ecoboost engine. Added advantage of Power (120BHP I think), with impressive mileage (18 kmpl ARAI).

Dear kaustav_jdvu,
Steering is not the problem.. I consulted the same with service executive. He told me that, it is a electronic power steering (EPS). Whenever we start i20, we should give at least 30 seconds to complete the circuit for EPS. So, it is not a problem. I only sometimes find the pro...blem. I recommend you all is, keep the key in on position (while on signals, also if you have shut the ignition off). This will suffice the problem...

I used to maintain speed of 80-90 kmph. Driving habits are like i change gears quickly while uplift. e.g. at 45kmph i use 5th gear. so mileage is good. coming to overtaking part i can takeover almost all the cars in same segment. found some challanges while playing with city.... lol at me....... :P but trust me... i just love driving i20...

I haven't feel the car underpower any time. In ghat roads, the car climbs hassle free. No problem with that. See my 2nd comment, in which i drive in ghat area with 6 people in my car. All were adult. If price is concern, then go along with swift. b'coz, in price of petrol i20, u'l...l get diesel swift.

ABS with EBD is necessary in slippary roads, where u'll find the drive hassle free. Even breaking improves with ABC+EBD. You can google the ''Advantages of anti-lock breaking system''. You will get much more better idea about the same. I might know only 5% of the same. Google it, u'll find the answer.

Dear Druv,
Mileage is 12 kmpl in city and 16kmpl on highway (Petrol version).
You wont find any power problem. I ride the car with 6 people in side, and in Tuljapur ghat. Havent felt any problem while climbing. And that to AC on. Only problem is 2nd gear pickup, It is less. Trust me, you'll never... regret ur choice. You have taken a wise decision.

i own i20, which was having the same noice prob. I visited service centre. They initially ignored n returned me the vehicle without solving the problem. Then another day, i visited service centre for the same problem. They were refusing to do the work again saying that, i might hv p...ut my car in pot-holes. I higher my voice in front of 20 hyundai customers, then they took the things seriously n problem disappeared. After the incedent i visited 3 times for regular service, n they served really good.
Forget the story dear vishnu, bt AGAR SIDHI UNGLI SE GHEE NA NIKLE TOH UNGLI TEDHI KARNI PADTI HAI.
Also, from many a places i heard really good reviews of the car. Please solve all ur probs. Happy driving... Tc..

good points u mentioned in the review...even at the same point i m confused in buying those 2 cars...but after ur review, i feel like going 4 swift vxi...i wanna drive the car for 3 years...so i guess that would b a good choice...1 point i want to tell u is:
swift petrol... 0-100 : 12.29 secs
swift diesel 0-100 : 13.75 secs
i personally feel that petrol version has better pic-up than that of diesel...
