Dude, you went to the wrong beach! The place you went to (with fishermen and nets) is Rajapuri from where one can board the boats for Janjira sea-fort. The beach you should have gone to is Murud (the town) and/or Kashid. Both Murud and Kashid are within 30 KM radius of Janjira fort. And I totally... agree with emil, Murud/Janjira/Kashid should be a minimum 2-day trip. The beaches of Murud, Kashid and Kolshet are amazing. The sea-food in Murud is also good.
