Concerning Andy's alleged racist comments towards Indians, this is entirely untrue, and highly insulting to both Andy and his wife, who is Indian by birth and has lived here most of her life. Andy has had a long and happy relationship with the local Goan community since 1...986.
Furthermore, there are no laws in Goa concerning customers drinking beer while waiting for an appointment, and Andy himself is a committed tea totaller (he does not touch alcohol).
To say that his equipment has the potential to spread A.I.D.S. is absolutely outrageous. Each needle is new and sterilised, for each and every customer. We feel to address this point any further would give credence to such an outrageous and malicious accusation.
Our advocate will be in contact with Mrs Miranda shortly.
Finally, to try and involve Shri Raj Thackery and make this a political situation makes me think of the motto of India, Satye Mev Jayate (TRUTH IS VICTORIOUS). Jai Hind

I am replying to the above posting regarding Andy's Tattoo Studio, Anjuna Goa, from Maryann. Miranda.
I have brought this to the attention of Andy, and I have to inform all viewers of the truth of this situation and the legal action we are taki...ng with Maryann and the site mouthshut.com.
First we have to get the facts right about what happened in February/March 2008.
Andy did get angry at Maryann, but the reason was that she picked up Andy's Tattoo equipment (a complete tube and tip) from Andy's sterilising table, without asking and dropped it on to a marble floor which bent the tip and made it unusable for further use.
As this equipment can't be bought in India, Andy told her to pay for it. Andy was so frustrated he left the studio so his wife dealt with the payment. Then Maryann still wanted a tattoo but argued about the price, wanting the price of 2 years earlier, not taking into account inflation in India of 15%.
Now we have to look at libellous statements made on this blog, point by point:
Andy is 41 years old and started professionally when he was 16 so that makes 25 years of tattooing.
Regarding Andy's broken leg, rather than being caused by locals beating him up and such nonsense, the facts are that he had fallen off his wife's scooter while she was going round a corner, a month prior to Maryann's visit.
All the tattooing equipment is sterilised 3 times, first in an Ultrasonic then in a rapidex solution (used by the British Army) then in an Autoclave machine 21000 classic, the same as is used in hospitals in the UK.
To say Maryann saw Andy SNORTING COKE and dealing drugs, is a joke at best, and libellous and damaging to Andy personally, and to his business professionally. We have informed our advocate and they are in the process of looking into what legal action is appropriate against MaryanRead More
