Funny experience

KLM (aka Skyteam) upgrade policy sucks big time

To me this is pure bitterness. If the author desires to travel in a higher class the only sure way he can do so is by paying for it. It is a common feature of almost all FFPs that if someone has a heavily discounted booking their ticket will unlikely be one where they can use points for an upgrade. ...It was a hard lesson for the reader but one I am sure will mean he can make an objective desicion on how much to pay for tickets in the future. It is also to be observed that the writer must be a very regular flyer with KLM or Skyteam partners so can he really think them that bad overall? I have flowen a few times with KLM and they are OK in my view though nothing exceptional but they are uauslly cheap and you get what you pay for.Read More

It is a disappointing review as it lacks the detail of where you flew and any other information about the flight. I understand you are frustrated about the excess to change your ticket but this is common to many airlines and sometimes there are legitimate reasons in the small print. If not you will ...have recourse to a refund with patience and tenacity. I do think the airline is not the best, I have used them a few times myself but a review has to provide the full facts of any problem and complete profile of the flight to be helpful, sadly yours does not. Royal Jordanian Airlines

This reads like an advertisment and lacks any real detail. EG - What was the food, what was the seat pitch and what was the ’cheap’ price. It seems a little suspicious to me - dare I suggest an employee! The author has since amended this review to include the point I mention though I think he mean...s the seat pitch is 30 inches (the standard for scheduled services), not 30 CM. It must be noted that having read Royal Jordanian reports there are serveral by different authors with very similar information and pretty much glowing praise (more than almost any other airline). I must believe the author of this particular airline who has contacted me personally to protest he has no connection with the airline. I do of course believe him but a review of the last few RJ reviews suggests an airline that has made stunning improvements over the recent few months or a number of other individuals who wish to give the airline a better profile.
