Hi!
One would expect more venom to flow out from your reviews, Amrita! And that too on the most lethargic business group, where one could take them on half volley on every issue.
It is not surprising that the group known for its quality and credibility is facing one of the most severe tests. W...hether it is consumer experience/service, corporate governance, nimbleness et al, Tatas are losing out and it shows in their reactions.
One wonders how a Nishkalp could happen in Tata Finance, not to speak of the poor returns in hotels, auto and most of the other business.

I am not trying to defend NIIT or others but my experience has been that the level of service varies across the branches.
My experience with SSI has been very disappointing -- tried the ChurchGate and the Delhi branches. Relatively, I found NIIT to be consistent and more friendly. I also ...had the opportunity to pursue a program with them and the faculty was pretty convincing.
As for the 24 hrs labs, NIIT started with that long ago.

no doubt, most of these new banks recruit professionals. There are 4-5 of my batchmates wkg. there -- but i hear not too positive comments about the policies.

I have had requested for a cheque in USD -- in the evening i went in to collect the same and the signing authority was in a meeting -- i waited for more than 20 minutes.
