I have been in Pune for more than 2 years now and each and everything you have said about this city is true. The civic sense of people are really pathetic. No one cares about traffic signals, driving in the wrong direction in a one way lane, spitting in public. When i came to pune i had a different ...picture of the place but once you actually start living and understaing the mentality of the people, its really a sad and ugly face of pune which rears up. I am now going to shift out of pune in a few months time simply because of the conditions here. rainy season comes and then there are absolutely no roads existant here. this review has come at the right time (for me at least)...every day i see crap being aired under the heading 'breaking news' or 'exclusive news'..but if you look at the content you actully feel like breaking the reporters head than anything else...so what if mallika was miffed about her payment or ...cameras during the shows...in place of that i would have appreciated a show like 'world this week' or the world last year....in fact the last week of december had a full day of how people of mumbai suffered because of supply stoppage FOR A DAY...thats really bullshit...the people were given a weeks notice and im sure they had enough time to store water for a day.....and this coverage when many parts of india were running without water for years togethere....who speak for them???? anyways...well written....Read More

good review and you hit upon all the best spots there. But the one thing that irritating about that palce is the unnecessary charge at each and every point. if you are passing through then 5 bucks if not something higher... and even though i went to all the places you said the strawberry prices the...re were shockingly costlier than its selling price in Pune. Maybe because i went on new years day . Well they did make a killing im sure. The various spots along the panchgani m'bshwar highway like the ATV bikes, go akrting, farms etc are also worth visiting. Venna lake was a joy for us, especially as we went out in the evening when it was cool. The climate like you rightly said is nothing what you would expect from a hill station. Found that lonavla had a better than panchgani. And the time we went was Amir Khans weddign reception and that also contributed to a large crowd there. good review...keep writing them MDRead More

well said..we really need to understand that actions are to be done for the future and not just for the present elections. when u the focus is on promoting mediocrity rather than eligibilty then the Govt should also realise that thats what they will finally end up with...a mediocre population who wi...ll want everything dished out to them rather than work for it and then the entire system will collapse.
