Dear Friend, Herz something for you **Few TIPS for TATA GRANDE OWNERS OUT OF MY EXPERIENCE** PLS NOTE: *Any problem you face twice, pls maintain a written correspondence with the dealer, in case you still don’t get rid of it include references in fresh corres. Writing and getting an acknowl...edged copy of letter by dealer is highly advisable(Prevents denial by him and controls his notorious behaviour) *Ask for a copy of the work order (scrutinise details, ensure your problem is endorsed properly). *Escalate the level of call with written proofs of letters in case you problem is not addressed. Customer Support Manager>> Zonal Support Manager>>Regional Support Manager>> Consumer Court. Patience is the key. On the contrary I can surely say the product is not bad and MK II is definitely better for sure, its the dealers who are making our lives miserable since they have no concern for customer problems and their satisfaction. TATA needs an introspection on this and an effective redressal mechanism.Read More

Dear Jeeshan, Infact intitially I had gone to purchase Safari but due to inherent advantages and careful analysis I went in for Grande. It indeed is value for money. Till now I have driven about 20000 KMs. now answer to your queries:- 1. Vehicle used to skid on turns on speeds higher than 6...0/70 kmph. I faced this problem earlier but now after considerable time and adaptability it does not skid anymore. 2. Wheel alignment is bit better than other TATA vehicles with the wider tyres, you need to take care of this issue specially if you are jumping speed breakers and enjoying the ride on a bad terrain, like i do. If you are a normal driver I hope u won't face any issues with it. 3. Yes you do feel it only on speeds higher than 100 otherwise it is insignificant even if u r running ur music system on a low volume. Not as good as a sedan but reasonably OK. 4. I am getting a Mileage of 13 to 14 with driving speeds around 110+. I have driven at top speed of 155 on NH15 from Jaisalmer to Barmer however TATA claims it to be 148 and yes that too in absolute control of the vehicle, infact i didn't even realise that i was at 155. I hope that answers all your queries. in case u still have some more pls shoot. Happy Driving. Regards MAKRead More

Dear Qwan, Thanks for dropping in and writing a comment. U know buddy not just a vehicle but also for people we adjudge them by their soul/ spirit they carry within. If I testify this vehicle in terms of the spirit it carries, it is never falling short. Above all I am a soldier and I see everythin...g around with that spirit and believe me I find this vehicle as a good companion despite all the shortcomings. Agility/ Stability/ Endurance is what keeps me sticking to this vehicle. Whatever not so good things are there, they can be improved/ modified and replaced but what you can't replace is the spirit (Both you and the vehicle). Would Maruti/ any other International Brand have been selling this vehicle you would have been spending a lot more. I shall suggest you please go out for a long drive on Grande with scorpio /tavera/ Innova. and on your way back tell me how many people asked you about the vehicle or seemed inquisitive towards your vehicle. I hope that justifies my recommendation. Thanks and RegardsRead More

Its problem in TATA's Quality Control Department. They treat customer as a LAB RAT and finally on the basis of customer's feedback they improve their product over a period of years. 'PATA NAHIN NANO kitno ko NAANI yaad dilayegi' Regards

I have now put in almost 40000 kms on the same vehicle and its driving grr8. Getting a mileage of 14.4 KmPL. The ride is still of good quality.Alignment out after every 5000 Kms. May be I drive rude and don't care for speed breakers. Comparison MK I and MK II I was quite excited by the new...Read more
